Thanks for posting, less than 7% is very good, would like to see more data in the future please do this again at 200k km.

My 2014 P85D Ludicrous after 7.6 years and 335,000 km has an indicated 100% range of 362 km. When I got it brand new 100% was 406 km. Not too shabby. Warranty runs out end of Jan. 2023.

Very hard to tell by the guess-o-meter, gotta do what I did.

You also have a totally different cell, 1865 vs 2170, so you really should compare to other vehicles with the same cell.

This was great Stephen thanks for sharing. I’ve got a 21 MYLR with 41K km - got it in November last year.

Nice video. Realistic battery range 395km. That's really good for a 2018 M3. 🙂

Great video How often do you or did you supercharge since getting the car?
@StephenWeppler2 жыл бұрын
Maybe 6 -8 times a year

2021 M3LR 85K in 15 months I only supercharge and have 8.5% battery degradation.

If you would have not exceeded 100km/h you could have travelled to the stated range, I’m at 220,000kms on my 2018 model 3 LR and I can get over 460kms per charge

Well it was a real world test... That's the speed limit on most US Interstates
@rogermoiny28272 жыл бұрын
@@StephenWeppler what does the US interstate have to do with this? It was a test conducted in Canada, just stating that if you were to drive at the posted speed limit of 100km/h he would have gotten much more range

@@rogermoiny2827 I wasn't going for range...
@rogermoiny28272 жыл бұрын
@@StephenWeppler yeah but you stated degradation percentage doesn’t that have to do with range?
@StephenWeppler2 жыл бұрын
@@rogermoiny2827 no, was seeing how many kwh were left in the pack, doesn't matter how slow or fast your drive, kwh's don't care.

Same exact for mine 2019 LR... what are the odds that everyone has same degradation? Software updated so we can all upgrade to a new car? And I have only 29k miles.

if your milage is the same that would make sense.

Tesla changed the algorithm that calculates the availability of kWh and battery degradation, and after that they are all quite similar in percentage of battery degradation, regardless of how someone charged and stored their car.
