I love these Saf t liner c2 buses,I drive one myself for the Dayton public schools and it rides good !! I love the sound of the retarders when it slows down by it's self..

I love school buses. But the ones I grew up with were no where near this type. The bus bodies I grew up with came with it's own cab, windshield, and entrance door. This one comes with the Freightliner M2 truck cab. The back of the Thomas C2, looks almost like a Wayne Lifeguard. I guess they came up with this design is so that there is more space for the bus driver's clip board.

Ryan Raimondo well everybody is entitled to their own opinion but Thomas is and always will be #1 to me cause I am a North Carolinian and they are made right here in our state 😊🤷🏽‍♀️ I have drove both blue birds don’t last as long and they are the cheapest buses you can buy I’ll take even a IC over Blue Bird anyday...

Actually, a Blue Bird Vision is more expensive than an IC CE, and Blue Bird updates their design more than Thomas or IC. The C2 and CE haven’t had any design change since 2006 or 2007, while Blue Bird updates the Vision in 2016.

That’s how all the controls in all the big buses look like they use those buses at high schools middle schools and at high schools one time I saw bus 41 at price chopper that’s the high schoolers bus

That's odd. I thought the bus stop at 84 passenger capacity. A 90 passenger would be too long.

The Thomas C2 only goes up to 72 PAX, but most C type buses I’ve ever seen only go up to 78. All 84-90 PAX school buses I’ve looked at is a type D.

The windshield is to big. The wind shield will take a long time to defrost in the cold winter months. This bus is put on a straight truck chassis. Blue Bird has used a chassis that is purpose built for a school bus. Thomas buses are better than IC bus though.

Pretty sure many people convert to Skoolies mainly because it is tens of thousands cheaper than buying a class C RV (also because they want to suck the life out of the school bus).
