Yes, It's a bit underpowered because of EURO 6... 1.6 97kw should be enough for that car in a normal way. But no problem on highway. The engine need more rpm (over 4000) to a life. But yes for a normal ride with 4 family members it has plenty space and the ride comfortable. I have 2017 facelifted version...

Awesome review. I got my Corolla 4 days ago and totally agree with your opinions. that's a nice looking, practical and economical car. However, I was expecting a bit more power output from 1.6 132 PS Toyota engine. It drives well, but it's not sporty. 1.8 version will be interesting but that was not available in my country. please make a review on 1.8 version if you have the possibilities. Thanks!

Thank you for the kind words! I'll mail Toyota tomorrow to see if they have any 1.8 version but I doubt it. With some luck, the new Corollas will be available with sportier configuration! 😁

well jaguar is trash car, when you try to sell it you see car lost almost all value, also multiple repairs for its lifetime, lexus it stays good value to sell, but where is big but. When you come for repairs you come out empty pockets. Simply lexus brand and repair will be double when toyota. About toyota well it doesnt brake it drives and drives its not fancy, but its like workhorse who is working day after day and seems lasting forever. Selling it will still hold nice value later.

9 - 10 lt/100 kms ? Are you sure ? I have Avensis with 1,8 and in the city i get 8,5 - 9 lt. My car is heavier with bigger engine . I don't know your driving style but the consumption you metioned is too high.

Depends on traffic density too. I drove it in Brussels which is not very friendly to cars 😂 I'm sure you could get a better average fuel consumption in slightly more favourable conditions ✌🏻
