@@nitishranjan6204 don't trust on my words or on my comments, just test drive etios cross on full load with 5 people seated and drive on flat or rough terrain and then drive a similar rival viz brezza, Micra or Honda WRV or VW polo cross or nexon or Ford ecosports and know the difference. Toyota is purchased for performance and driving pleasure safety stability, others will definitely offer lots of cosmetic features and electronic inbuilt Gizmos.

@@devashishjbobby Thanks. U just cleared my doubts but Etios series has been discontinued and I am getting a deal on Cross petrol model with discount of almost a lakh rupee. So can I expect the same stability and durabilty from Toyota's petrol engine as that of its diesel counterpart. In case u have any idea about its petrol version's performance then pls guide.The discontinuation of Etios is not my concern at all, and my priority is back seat comfort and SAFETY. THANKS🙏🙏

people shall understand that Toyota is more reliable in terms of safety and maintenance costs in comparison to Maruti...Liva may not be feature rich car but definitely it will never pinch its customers while on road...the maintenance cost is almost half of Maruti Swift...So if anyone is looking for reliability then forget show-off culture of other parallel cars go for Toyota...

Ajun Afzal go for liva it has better builtquality and lots of space even you knoew TOYOTA engines can go upto 5L kms without engine bore. Where as maruti swift stucks in 3L. Also TOYOTA cars have best resale value. Only swift is equipped with looks.. also at rear seat in Swift it is very incomfortable to sit 3 persons and a person who is 6feet got his head cracked..Just go for liva and you definetly never face any complaint regarding to it..

I tested etios diesel manual. It is almost like an automatic because in 3rd gear you can cover an entire city speed from 70 km to low of 15 km because of low special torque system. Except signals u dont need to shift gear. Best among, baleno, i20 etc. Polo better, but no space like etios.

Yes and I just couldn't live with the fact that this car wont pickup, so I sold it in 1 month. However other aspects of this car, like ride handling, brake seat comfort, rear seat space are good. Go for diesel if you want to buy Liva only. In my thinking it doesn't matter the per day (km) usage calculation. The car should first perform then the other aspects come in. The only aspect you need to take care about diesel engines are if you keep it idle for more than 15 days, then a bit of servicing could be involved.
