Sequoia is a true SUV!!! Sequoia is the best SUV money can buy, because it's the most reliable and people will never have an issue with turbos because there's none, and people will never have carbon build up because it doesn't have direct injection like competitors. It's not rice burner with turbo. It's not a Prius with Auto start/stop. It's not a iPhone on wheels that needs to reset by the dealer every 6 months and replaced every couple years because of the issues. It's reliable SUV that can go 500k miles without touching engine or transmission. Also, it's simple, reliable, comfortable and holds it's value better than any other SUV. Great on gas for its size.

kinda of sounds like my '97 Land Cruiser.... I hate "smart cars" ! My wife has a Highlander and its a great vehicle, but I cant stand the "I phone" nature of it, so I won't be buying a new Land Cruiser for the same reason.

I have a 2016 and love the power reclining third row seats. Much more comfortable than gm because they recline and they don't sit on the floor with your knees in your chest. Design is old, and the newer vehicles from the competition are more moderb, but you can't beat the sequoia for room, turning radius, amd especially reliability and resale value.

I don't care too much about how long a vehicle goes between updates (except for the Nissan Titan that was just ridiculous) I care more about reliability that's why I traded my 2008 GMC Sierra for a 2012 Toyota Tundra 150k miles later and it still runs like new!

Alexander Mendoza a fully decked out platinum or 1794 tundra only runs 54k. Tundra had more room and more power than the Chevy and will hold its value way better, and is more reliable. I don't care that the competition has all that tech crap, the tundra has it where it counts, power, 10.5 inch rear end with 4.30 gears, and will last forever.

Most disappointing 2018 vehicle I saw at the 2017 LA Auto Show after the Nissan Frontier. Toyota should've fully redesigned it several years ago. It still screams 2008 & it's weird that Toyota stuck with the old dashboard instead of the newer one in the Tundra.
