I have always loved the look of the retro. I think that if Ural could make the solo retro with a few more HP and slightly higher final gear they would sell lots of them. I just bought a 2011 retro and should have it next week. I live in Australia and they are like hen's teeth here.

NOTE: Dmitry made a small flub, this bike has GEN 1 EFI, Gen 2 is available as upgrade...had me going there for a minute... you know, if there has been a 2019 or later one of those, there would be 2 Retros in my Garage with my Harley and ancient BMW powered Sportsman. Changes made and paid for, time to bring it back IMHO, Gear up would be gone so quick it would be amazing...friend just put the new EFI on his, oh my, it is a Ural road rocket now, and all its problems went away. 110K on my old Retro and counting...been riding various sidecars since 1996, Retro is the best handling sidecar I have ever ridden, period.

That looks like the Gen 1 ElectroJet Throttle Bodies to me, not the Gen 2 Keihin throttle bodies.

Note, 3 years have passed, both me and GoneUraling, have 2018 Retros with Gen 2 EFI...by 2 different dealers...mine may be the one in this video...that was upgraded.

I own one, they really are and handle amazingly well. Have put 109K (km) on mine and another Ural and a BMW has come and gone since I bought her...have a Gear Up also...Dmitry may have been talking about me... ;-) Both of my current Urals came from URAL NE, I live in Georgia.
