2018 Volvo XC60 Review - Cars.com

Just a head's up to my friends . I bought this Volvo in March and was never told it has tires that CAN NOT be repaired. You see there is foam in the tire to make it a quiet ride. So when I had a slow leak in one of my tires I paid 270 dollars for a new tire. Then I had to go back and pay 600 dollars more for the tire coverage and was insulted by them saying that I should have bought the tire coverage in the first place. I told them no one ever told me that these tires were unrepairable and they said "Sorry". This is a leased car and I have it approx 5 months. Now I still have to wait 45 days for this to take affect so my car will probably sit in the driveway for most of the duration. Thanks Volvo

A normal inscription without the hybrid part is about 50-55k for the XC60. XC90 is way better though in every way

I’ve heard that even tho they’re both based on the same platform, the newer XC 60 is actually quieter and has a faster infotainment system than the older xc90. Do you have the same impression? I recently drove both the XC 90 and S 90 and I was surprised how noisy the interior was.

Neil Cho they've always been expensive...they're super safe and the older models are uber reliable. All cars are getting expensive. A fully loaded Lincoln navigator and caddie escalade are over 100k loaded. I don't know where the pricing madness ends. ..I guess when they stop selling at those levels.

a fully specced-out macan will run you well over 100k.

A Macan GTS or turbo will run upwards of 100k, yes. The standard Macan and Macan S will run you anywhere from 60-70k with full options. The GTS and turbo outclass this by performance, so does the S if I'm being honest.

oh, believe me i know. as a long-time volvo fanatic i am aware of all of the company's flaws and shotcomings. performance is certainly not a place where they shine. however, the safety, technology, amazing design, not to mention the luxury in this car is quite remarkable. this is not a performance-oriented car (even the t8), so it targets a different buyer than the macan. also, you can purchase a well-equipped xc60 for much less than 70k.

No...a fully loaded turbo tops out a few grand over 100k, GTS too. Standard Macan and Macan S variants price anywhere from 50k-75k with popular options.
