Listen..!! This F20 Yamaha as more than 362 cc like was the previous ones till 2020. it's now got 462 cc and the displacement is worth to see , because now you can maximise your propeller to the max with a big pitch. and you have the same motor as the F25 witch is also 462 cc. Amazing stuff again as you can convert your F20 to a F25 by changing the computer Box and the spacer

Hi Peter do you see a good difference between the wc and the ssv ?

The biggest difference is the way the seats are positioned. I like the walk through middle seat of the SSV but I also prefer the back seat layout of the WC. The WC has more floor space for a tiller engine. We like to stand up when we are steaming the boat. The only other real difference for me is the flat floor in the front of the SSV. The first SSV I had was a console model. SSV is much better boat for that. My son prefers the WC because of the back seating.

How fast can you get the ssv with the 20 horse if there’s 3-4 people and a bunch of gear on the boat (like 600lb)? Can you still get up on plane ok? I have a 14 right now with a new 20hp merc and was thinking of stepping up to the ssv16 but keeping the motor

To be honest I haven't had that many people aboard mine. With 2 people and the gear the 20 is fine. I sold one to a guy he went with a 30 for the very thing that you mentioned. Sorry I can't be of much help to your question.

@@jaredmanns3185 I would have to run it sgain now with the GPS to be 100% certain but if i remember correctly it was 40 kms with the 20 on the 14.

I checked the speed of my SSV 16 with a 20 Yamaha. Top speed is 23 mph

Looks like a good match for that size. Saw bow coming up but it levels off. Maxing out motors on boats are overrated, I run a 15hp and 25hp on my 16'. I keep my setup light weight, gets me into shallows or over sand bars when other boats run ground.
