FYI even if we subtract the 1893 (4 game season) and 1894 (7 game season, Texas went 6-1), Texas still had has +6 advantage on wins which is very significant with the same amount of games. Also Texas has more bowl appearances (53) and the most important statistic the head-to head which is (62-47-5). Texas also has better record against other head to head blue blood programs (Alabama 7-1-1, Georgia 3-1, LSU 9-7, Ohio State 2-1, and Michigan tied at 1-0). Almost all of OU's national championships were without a National Championship game or playoff the only one that wasn't was in 2000. A total of 6/7 National Championships won by OU were purely on a voters system. I'm going to say Texas is the better football program than OU, OU fans will say they are better so ultimately its a matter of opinion. Also a waste of time during the weekdays. Also LOL as an NCAA sports program overall Texas is 5th (83 Gold, 143 total) in producing Olympic Gold Medals and 6th in overall medals. OU is 81st! Peace, love, HOOK'EM!
