2019/2020 cascadia STAND BY MODE FOR BATTERY CHARGE

A quick tutorial on how to put your freightliner into standby mode for battery charge idle.

I need to know if after you hit ok. Do you turn Tyler off or leave the ignition to on position. I went from a 2017 Freightliner to a 2025 Freightliner and it a total new system it seems like.

Did you epu box on the back of the cab run a fan for a 1 minute on key on, when temps were warm? My truck does that. Wondering if its normal.

Mine was doing that all the time . Didn’t think it was of a concern .

What does battery mode mean in comparison to standby mode . Mine will go into battery mode . It says on screen .

Not sure I’ve never seen it. But I’ve been driving a Volvo 860 for awhile now.. forgot all about the cascadia. Sorry

No they all have it , depends what options your carrier chooses and what features they enable and disable on your truck . I drove both 2019/2020 both had it . It’s just about what your boss chooses for you . Some are being aholes and they enable disable features they want with the little computer device 😂😂

some companies are garbage like that, i worked for one that never even gave me the options either and i asked and asked so i quit and went with a waaaaaaay better company

@@spikonaleash I’m just now seeing this. I work for a small family owned carrier located in Grand Prairie Texas Lupus Superior LLC . I’m always in a brand new truck. I currently got a 2020 Volvo vnl 860 .I probably would never think of quitting or going anywhere else . But to each it’s own. I love it here, I don’t like the mega carriers .
