The Anglican Liturgy look like Catholic Liturgy.

Looks are deceiving. Anglicans have been pretending to be Catholics since about 1895 when Pope Leo XIII said their orders were not valid. Suddenly their bishops started wearing mitres and priests started wearing Roman collars. After 350 years of clearly being Protestants, they decided to muddy the waters and play Catholic. It's a charade.

Great rendition of the hymn. Anglo catholic is RC but with wider choices of music across more eras. Being of british origin, anglo catholic loves a good old protestant singsong followed by plainchant and then maybe anthems and then maybe an orthodox chant and then a modern hymn written by someone local so lets all sing it just to be nice to the person who made an effort and then..why not sing the battle hymn of the republic even though Britian is a constitutional monarchy albeit with the 'mother of all parliaments' as centrepiece? "Glory Glory Hallelujah" is fun to sing and, though we are very high church, lets do it elvis-style (because God has a sense of humour.) At least, that is how it is in my church in north London in England. But roman catholics and orthodox attend our anglican church because our liturgy is old school roman catholic and humour and a good cup of tea are included.

@John Hu Yes the Anglo Catholic liturgy is RC liturgy with anglican extras and music High Church Anglican is a lot like less formal RC. Middle anglican is not very roman but a Methodist would be comfortable. And Low Church Anglican ia very unroman and evangelical Anglican is a mishymashy hodgepodge of whatever the 'worship leader' feels like doing (bewilderingly lacking in liturgy but long on kindergarten-to-junior highschool levels of music that is easy to clap along to and is childfriendly (though children sing complex liturgical anthems perfectly well in high church and anglocatholic churches). Anglican church is broad in what it encompasses. the vicar chooses the style. they dont all follow the same missal or service format.. lots of variation

They are mixed up and dont know what they are doing. Notice they dont bow before the altar. They just haphazardly walk in without reverence. They say they have Eucharist but they dont believe in the Body and Blood. Anglicans are a theological nightmare.

It is a Provincial ceremony some are invited guests. Most are wearing choir dress. Only the celebrant and his assistant is required to be in vestments. In this case the Province covers the USA, Canada and Mexico thus the variety

I was enjoying the procession and feeling blessed as an Anglican from the Church Of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, then I saw women priests. Not Biblical. God cannot be mocked. There's no room for for women priests in Scripture. God is not a Democrat. He is God all by Himself, and what He says, goes. Women have no business being priests. The Bible tells me so

Gregg Smith Charismatic Anglicans, Lutherans, Baptists, Mennonites, Methodists as well as others have existed since the 1960s. I would suggest you read the book “Nine O’Clock In The Morning”, by the Rev. Denis Bennett, an Episcopal Priest who was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1960. Also, I the 1800s there were Methodist healing evangelists, Pentecostalism has its roots in Methodism. I’d encourage you to do your research before commenting on things you know nothing about. Being a former Pentecostal, now Anglican (affiliated with ACNA, and apart of an ANiC parish), who studied in a Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada Bible college and was credentialed with the PAOC, I know the history of Pentecostalism because I had to take a history course on the subject in college. Also, the raising of hands in worship, the clapping in worship, even dancing are all Biblical expressions of worship. As is the use of a tambourine, and other instruments other than the organ and piano.

Foley Beach Archbishop if the ACNA (to which the ANiC is a diocese), at the beginning of the service of consecration (The Welcome, 20 minutes into the video which is available on KZbin from Anglican TV Ministries) he declares that he is baptized in the Holy Spirit. Nowhere in Scripture do we see an end to the charismata before Jesus returns! Nothing supports the claims of John MacArthur and others.

Sadly they have some evangelical and non-liturgical churches geared towards youth as well that I feel kind of destroy the point of being part of the Anglican continuum. Not to mention they harbor a good deal of full-on 5-point Calvinists and iconoclasts. One could argue that the often dominant progressives in the Anglican Communion proper are theologically worse than Calvinists, which is fair, but still, all these things combined doesn’t make me confident that ACNA is the best alternative.

1 Peter 1-2 would disagree with you as all believers are priests. Also Paul in Romans 16 commends women by name who were apostles, deacons, and pastors. The ACNA (the ANiC is a diocese of the ACNA) is conservative, not liberal.

@xtus vincit Happily the women are priested not priestessed. Women in high roles is biblical and the 'modern misogyny' is the thing we are seeing disappear again, which is a blessing. Rejoice at the return to traditions of religious women who speak with authority. tRuth!

You left the Episcopal Church for a reason. Priestesses and female deacons are against scripture, tradition and reason. The sooner the abolishes them, or at least refuses to ordain or license any new ones, the better!
