Ah, the Vampire at the start. My Dad flew Vampires. He preferred the Meteor i.e "no room to swing a cat in the cockpit of a Vampire". I first saw the Arrows when they were flying Folland Gnats in the early 70's (RAF Turnhouse Air Display, Edinburgh, Scotland). Also low runway passes then vertical climbs with afterburners on from both Lightnings and Vulcans ( like an earthquake had happened) and Russian roulette from Starfighters - scary stuff! Miss those days!.

There is a Vampire and Meteor flying in Australia! Never got to see the Arrows (yet). My old man was a RAAF Roulette in the Macchi, filled dead mans boots after the collision.

So miss the Red Arrows at Biggin hill but I know the air show at Biggin hill is going down anyway good Video of the Red Arrows I like to see more of air shows Any video of the Harrier jump jets I miss 😂

It’s surprising when the formation of the vampire and the other plane flew over then the red arrows.
