2019 BMW F40 M135i - Exhaust sound burps when changing gears

The road was wet so there may be a little more road noise than usual. To get the burps when changing gear I try to change gears at about 3k rpm

I have the same car. It pops nicely between 4000 and 5000 on Eco Pro using paddles to shift. havent heard if it does on the changedown though

Oh really.. I never know that. I'll give it a try. I coded in comfort plus which pops each time you let go of the throttle 2000 to 3000 rpm also when you gear down hard (hold the left paddle shift for two seconds)

you manually changing gears at 3k rpm? on sport mode with traction?

Yeah man about 3500rpm. With the paddle shift and not the gear shifter

I also have a 2019 model and although it delivers plenty of pops and bangs it doesn’t do that beautiful burp when shifting gear!!! Is it really stock?!

Have you tried using the paddle shifters to change gears at about 4000rpm?

How come that makes bubbles on upshifts and some other f40 m135is don't?

Yeah not too sure but I think its different software for different regions. I must say I was lucky to have the 2019 model in Aust. The car burps on upshift, burbles and pops all with the stock exhaust. Everything is amplified with an exhaust

3500kms. But my car sounded the same at 500kms

Yes stock exhaust on sport mode
