Almost everyone mentions inline 4, like it's some kind of lesser of an engine! Inline 4 is actually a very capable engine, it's smooth, it can rev pretty damn high, too. It's just very smooth and some people interpret that to being boring!

the problem with those rear lights is not everyone can distinguish red from orange. With the rear/brake light separate from the indicators colourblind people can still see if you are braking because the light is either on or off. By changing the brake lights to be basically the indicators I reckon there may be issues

I find power rs feel greasy when you run "normal" road pressure so i put them low 32 front 34 rear on the road and use in all conditions the pressure i find rises alot with these tyres almost to recomended when hot from the temp i start with.

I’ve owned both. The 2018 BMW owns the 2018 V4 in just about every way; handling, acceleration, comfort, electronics, fueling, braking, etc. Aesthetics could go either way. Both are good-looking bikes.

I put 13k miles on my '17 single R. Looking to get '19 RR this week. I'm eager to see the difference in terms of road riding performance. Handle bars do make the R more comfy but the RR is not uncomfortable. I don't have a car so I ride year round, looking forward to seeing how the RR does 😁

I did notice the clutch is strange. Same on the 850, I feel. And straight out of the crate, the Shift-Assist isn't calibrated so the shifts are absolutely brutal. But the ergonomics on this bike are MILES better than the old one. I consciously noticed that my legs were perfectly supported. Best bike on the market under $70,000 USD.

The carbon wheels are desirable but the bike is soo light you can get away with forged wheels. I have 2016 s1krr with Forged wheels and my bike feels like a 600. I just dont want that hard ass M seat lol and I dont like the color scheme, I am really waiting for the black s1krr..Check out Race Package it's a better road bike

New 2021 S1000R might be the 'better' option for road carving now. People don't like the new headlight design, I don't mind it myself, the whole bike looks more it's own model now, not a stripped down RR.

Awesome vid as always guys. In need of some advice. I have a 2017 S1000rr which is a good all round bike. I have done 400+ mile trips on it. Just tested this new 2020 S1000rr and found its seat like a plank of wood. Feel if I tried to do even 300+ mile trips my botty would literally prolapse. As Chris has loads experience on gen 1 & 2 and rode loads on the 2019/20 model any suggestions or am I just getting old, frail and in need of a tourer?
