“The Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” was written by Holly Jackson not Holly Black and I believe the paperback edition was out in May and the hardcover edition is supposed to be published in February...

Awesome video!!! You should read The Reckoners series by Brandon Sanderson. I read it this year and it’s so good! I couldn’t put them down. Great characters and growth throughout the books. So many twists and turns. Great world building. And it has such funny parts in it.

Best book of 2019: The devotion of suspect X by Keigo Higashino. It’s a murder mystery but with a unique twist, in that it tells you the who, how and why about the murderer in the very first chapters. So you would expect that there should be no mystery left to keep on the edge of your seat, but... The murderer receives unsolicited help from a third party to cover up the murder. And we don’t know how they do it. Even the murderer doesn’t know how they’re able to essentially escape the suspicion of the police. Only the third party knows. Can the detectives figure out the trick? Why is the third party helping the murderer? Is there real trust here? That’s where the mystery comes from. Ok maybe I didn’t do a good job of hyping it up, but you should read it and maybe talk about it so others can reach for it too!

I'm with you on that. I read the lunar Chronicles and completely LOVED it. I was genuinely obsessed with it (and still am). That's why I had such high hopes for the renegade trilogy. I finished supernova literal hours ago and I'm kind of disappointed. IDK I just think the lunar Chronicles had a more interesting plot and that the problems seemed more real to me whereas some of the problems in renegades seemed avoidable.
