Can I get any grips for the Bowtech SR6

I actually have the SR6 and the vertix.. to me the SR6 is smoother and faster. My opinion.

C H agreed 100% I picked the SR6 over vertix for that reason.

iTune bows and you mentioned the hand shock that's in the 60 pound sr6 if you look the timing marks may not be right .The biggest issue with hand shocked that I have realized is if you take a couple twist out of the control cable and apply a little more tension on the string the hand shock will disappear I have an sr6 60lb got rid of all my hand shocked by doing that. Removing a couple twists and making sure you're strings are still between the timing marks and this thing shoots like a dream

Seen a Guy get 347 out of one without a hot chrono . Definitely a great draw cycle, I own 3 of them.

Is 326 to fast for a mechanical Broadhead?

New to bow hunting. I have shot a handful of bows. I have narrowed it down to the Vertix, Realm SS or SR6. Couple of questions. 1. I’m 5’9 should I be worried about axle to axle length? I will be hunting public land this will involve some long walks in. 2. I was told that because of my draw length (again I’m 5’9) the SR6 will give back some of the speed I would be losing. Is this true? 3. Will I lose accuracy from a speed bow like the SR6? Sorry if these are questions sound silly. This will be my first bow purchase. Great reviews by the way!

1. no, a 32” ata bow is great for hunting, and a fully rigged bow weighs about 6-7lbs, piece of cake to carry 2. yes, you will gain about 15 feet per second with a speed bow, but speed isnt really all that important 3. PRACTICE, shoot as much as possible and you will get good with any bow 4. have fun!!!

Stephen Prater will I be giving up anything if I go down to a 30 ata?
@ericcartman83546 жыл бұрын
C Neal No, 30 ata is a hunting bow, longer ata bows, like 35” or longer start getting into target bow territory. Im shooting a 30 right now, but this year Im buying a new bow, maybe a 32

@@cdpneal sorry if the reply is a little late but look into the Xpedition Archery bows. They're very quick and very smooth. The Mako X is IBO at 364fps. If you're looking for speed I'd definitely check them out

Just traded a Mathews Halon 32 for a Bowtech SR6 today.

Torn between a 75lb vertix or the 70lb SR6! Both will equal out to almost the same the same feet per second. I like the low noise after the shot and zero hand shock from the Mathews. The SR6 will save 5lbs of draw weight and the bow its self is lighter weight.

hunterdka just gonna give you my two cents here....I just traded a Mathews Halon 32 for a SR6. The pros to the SR6 is it’s not heavy like the Mathews. I never did like the draw on the Halon series. Do yourself a favor and get the Bowtech. The grip is really nice! And people can say what they want but the SR6 has less felt hand shock than any Mathews I’ve ever shot. Hope this helps with your decision.

@@jsloan0423 I went and shot a lot of bows the other day. Hoyts Mathews bowtechs and a prime. Ended up with the ct3 prime! Never shot a prime till then it's a little slower but the but holds it's fps better than a lot of bows. At my 27in draw it held on to it's speed better and was silky smooth.

hunterdka cool deal brother! Every bow fits everyone differently and that’s why we can all appreciate all the many choices in the bow world. Good luck and enjoy your new bow, and happy hunting!

It loads up right before it dumps into the valley. It’s not bad. Draw cycle is great and the “hump” at the end isn’t that big of a deal.
