2019 CP Holiday Train - Franklin Park, Illinois!

Up close and personal with the 2019 Canadian Pacific Holiday Train! She stopped for a few minutes right in front of the camera (edited out for time's sake). For those of you who'd like to see it lit up at night, you can find a video of the train going past our Chesterton, Indiana railcam on our YT channel. Happy Holidays Everyone!

It was sitting next to Franklin Park Ave in the CP yard. I took some good pictures yesterday so I’m going to see it leave today there.

What I like about that Holiday train is the heavy weights bringing up the rear but, I'm a sucker for heavy weight passenger cars.

Hi Railstream can you tell me if the engine is a GP35 last year it was an SD70 Ace if I remember, the reason I know they have been changing engine every 2 years on the holiday Christmas train and decorations and I plan to have them all for my personal collection and run them on my layout for all to enjoy and remember the real scale when it passed through their town.
