2019 CRF250R 1 Year review

I can't believe I have had this bike for a year already. One of my favorite bikes I have had yet! It defiantly has its pros and con but one thing you can't deny is it looks sweet even as a stock bike I love the red. I'm currently riding a 2019 Honda CRF250R for the 2019 season. My last bike was a 2017 Husqvarna FC250 and the bike before that was a 2016 KTM SX250 2 stroke. The rest of my equipment is listed below.

I have the same bike love it dude, I also have a 06 Honda 250 as well , I baught mine last July and I currently have 36 hours on it, have you done any valve adjustments or anything like that ? And clutch work ? Everything still golden as new? Just curious mine is still all good no valve adjustments and no clutch work just wanting to know how yours is holding up as well , nice vid

Same iv done nothing valve and clutch are still good! I was thinking about doing a Hinson clutch not because mine is bad just for performance

@@DoubleOJoe save some money and get the rekluse torque drive clutch pack...You can install it your self and will add performance and last way longer than stock

Double O Joe because I want to get a 250 this year and I was wondering about the Mapping controls and I always leave a like on your vids keep up the good work

@@thatgamingboy6916 oh sweet! so every 250 different but on the honda, you have 3 maps that can be changed by a button on the handlebars. All the maps really do is change the power first map is slow, the second map is in the middle and the third map is fast all the power the bikes got. Honestly I never really change it out of the most powerful map and most people I know do the same thing just leave it in the most aggressive map the third one. Anyways thanks for liking the video if I get around to it ill try and make a more in-depth video on it.

Double O Joe do you notice it being unstable like they say in the reviews?

I would imagine that it being unstable is relative to how stable the other bikes in the class feel. I can tell you right now that compared to my 07' yz450 all of these newer bikes are infinitely better, but thats just if you have the chance to ride each and choose. At the end of the day they test these bikes completely stock. No matter what bike you get, stock for isn't going to suit everyone 100%. It all comes down to your favorite brand, color etc, and what you do to it to make it work for you. My 07' is Hella outdated (14yrs old), but nobody can pull a holeshot on me, and its predictable given that I've put the time on it and done the mods I needed to make it work for me, as well as of course proper suspension setup. So take it for what it is, but thats my .02c. Just don't buy a bike that has known issues that the manufacturer has not fixed. I suggest away from a newly designed bike as well, wait until the 2nd year of that design to get it without the initial bugs that took some heavy riding to uncover.
