我看完覺得最感動的點是，林書豪是一個離我們那麼遠的NBA球員，但他卻願意來到臺灣，在分享會中跟一群「完全不認識」的人，每年分享他最真實、最脆弱的那一面，勇敢地向大家敞開，這樣的生命我覺得非常了不起。 林書豪也說他每年都很想回來跟大家分享他今年「靠著神球打得多好」的見證，也看得出來他內心最大的渴望是有很棒的場上表現、打一個漂亮的球季，但他一年又一年經歷（對他和很多球迷而言）不理想、不完美的球季，卻仍然堅持破碎自己……。他每年的演講好像是在和大家說：「我今年又還是沒有成功」，但我認為在屬靈生命的角度裡，他這樣的分享是一個屬靈生命的提升和進步。

Idiots on social media think Jeremy was just complaining about his career narcissistically, but in actuality he was making a bigger point about the importance of not giving up. He was being vulnerable and expressing his own failures in order to help others and show others that they're not alone. I commend Jeremy for this speech.

I feel for him, and I don't think he got a fair shake in the NBA. But like most famous people, when he weeps about "failures" at this level he sounds a teeny bit out of touch with the kind of suffering that ordinary people are going through. Now that I'm listening more I hear that he acknowledges that.

I didn’t know Jeremy until recently through his Basketball show in China recently. I’m very encouraged by his faith in God amidst every hardship. Jeremy shared a very powerful testimony for us. Life is hard yet it is those hard to that makes him strong. He didn’t give up on God and neither the Almighty. Keep walking Jeremy because God is with you and leading you to the great purpose. Thank you so much for sharing your vulnerability and showing us “don’t give up”. Surely, the new season awaits you. May the God Almighty bless you richly in all you do.

有人會去羨慕公眾人物的光環，想要錢及名聲，但說實在要面對這麼多雙眼睛盯著他們，壓力是多麼龐大，不想讓支持你的人失望，同時也不想讓酸你的人有機可趁去抹黑，你當然不用擔心自己生活品質，但再多得錢也無法滿足自己內心空虛，這就是為什麼有些名人會不小心走到墮落的道路，依靠各種物質 賭博 血拚 濫用藥物 酒精 沉迷不當性愛，來填補內心不安，但我很慶幸林書豪始終沒有服輸，即使陷入很大低潮，他仍然勇於挑戰自己，我是個平凡人，在生活當中也無數次遇到困難，好幾次都想放棄，我朋友們勸我放棄轉向別的道路，但是看到林書豪之後，我實在覺得我這麼放棄，那以後老了我會不會後悔呢?我只希望在我年老時統整我人生時，我可以很心安面對自己:「至少我努力過了!」

Jeremy's testimony really encouraged and touched me. He opened up his wounds for all of the world to see, he shared all of his vulnerabilities, failures, and fears, just to encourage people who are also going through hard times: "don't give up, don't give In, don't lose hope," because "there is purpose in your waiting. God never wastes your pain. He wants to make your life more and more like Jesus. That's why He puts you in the desert." Thank you Jeremy. It's always not about what we want, but what God wants. Let His will be done, and let us live for His glory.

I’d never seen any other NBA player doing this with such a way directly to his heart...In both western and eastern values we don’t think it’s suitable to talk about own failures in front of so many people and medias, and cried. Jeremy Lin got us shocked, seeing his attitude and faith, encouraged all of us. We never worry about his contracts like we never had to worry about Yao’s before, unless he wants to retire by himself. 一个华人后卫能在NBA立足，前所未有的创举。但不得不说，林这两年确实不行了，因为我们亚洲后卫就是28岁后会出现伤病问题，膝盖会痛，爆发力也会受影响，黑人一般33岁才会出现类似的问题。林来CBA都不怎么行，因为伤病，投篮问题

People be saying how he already has so much; a Harvard degree and played on this team and that team etc but I personally think that everyone has different goals in life. What someone has may not be what makes them happy. What makes Jeremy happy is playing the game he loves to his fullest potential. Honestly listening to his speech really brought me back to my mindset when I first started playing basketball. When he mentioned how he thought he didn’t deserve the championship, I remembered how I refused to compliment my teammates because I felt as if I was not good enough to. Jeremy is a real inspiration.

“我幾次流離，你都記數，求你把我眼淚裝在你的皮袋裡。這不都記在你冊子上嗎？詩篇56：8”-相信神知道，也紀念這些，在你所經歷的高山跟低谷，願神保守你，剛強壯膽，緊緊跟隨，孩子，如果神是大能的，是無所不能的，是行奇事的神，在低谷中的你，要更加的靠著神，我常常在讀大衛故事的時候，覺得他真的算是很倒楣的人（以人的眼光來看）,他早年被掃羅王追殺的日子，他其實沒有做什麼壞事，他卻一直都在躲避掃羅王的追殺，就像作奸犯科的壞蛋逃避警察，我常常在想，他要如何面對自己並未做什麼卻被追殺的心態？他要如何確信絕對不會死在曠野而能脫身平安的心情？每一次都能在這樣的環境中勝過嗎？是什麼使他有剛強的信心？一次又一次更加困難的環境他是怎麼勝過的？對於大衛這是一項考驗，他也許也不認為他自己能勝過，也許有一天晚上他躲在山洞裡，害怕到無法睡覺，突然抬頭看見滿天的星斗，滿滿的星星，他突然想起造萬物的神，他說有就有，使無變有....突然覺悟過來，會不會是這樣？如果神是大能，放手交給祂吧！祂必要負責你的全部，有高山，必然有山谷，有晴天也必然有陰雨，願你在任何環境裡都有神給的喜樂，祝福你。
