It is a really nice car. Shame that the Wetbelt issue have to cause problems for some owners. My biggest worry when buying one was the Wetbelt failure. But proper maintenance and using the correct Oil should keep the car running without issues for a long time.

Maybe the engine oil needs to be checked. Otherwise, the 1.1-litre Fiesta is a good entry-level car.

Ten silnik ma 3 cylindry i 75KM (wersja 70-konna weszła w 2021). Ale nawet biorąc to pod uwagę brzmiał ani nie jechał zbyt zdrowo, kontrolka "check engine" pewnie ma coś z tym wspólnego. Mam nadzieję że powiedziałeś o tym właścicielowi.

Engine is way out no wonder its known as ecoboom. Revs seems to be high which I have noticed might be the gearbox or a clutch problem, 6th gear would be useful to reduce engine noise. I have a fiesta MK8 1.5 TDCI and my diesel engine isn't loud like this at all. Some fiesta MK8 have some commons problems such as engine, gearbox or clutch problems.

In general, the car is excellent for the city and even for long-distance trips, but the engine is frankly too weak for this car and the noise insulation leaves much to be desired.

I don't think insulation is a problem in this case. The problem is this engine is completely gone!

To me it sounds like someone cut off a part of the exaust maybe even the whole catalytic converter.. It's way to loud and the check engine light would be an indicator for that as well. No wonder it's running like crap if I'm guessing right.

@@tommasomanzali7847 Acutally it doesn't to me: See if a car can not fulfill the emission standard for whatever reason is it goes into "emergency-modus" or stops driving immeditely. If your AD-Blue in low on modern diesel engines and you didn't refill after so many miles (usally around 800) the car only drives 50mph max. or won't continue to drive at all. So not having the full HP if you CAT is "inefficient" seems logical.

This engine is toast. The Ford Ecoboost 3 cilinder is one of the worst engines on the market. I have seen them go out at less than 50.000kms. Do not buy them! These are a nightmare!
