Yep they can be but a lot of it depends on your location. They seemed to be more popular in certain areas. Thanks for watching!

that ford tractor with the wood forks on the front, reminds me of my father back in the day, he sold durant cars, rogers- majestic fridges, deforest -crosley radios, those big parlor radios, dad ran a garage business as well any how he built buck rakes for farmers out of old 3 ton trucks that used this same set up to pick up stacks of loose hay, dam I miss dad! been gone since 1986,

That was awesome. Those were some really nice fords. Im partial to the Jubilee as I grew up on one. The 8N's are really my favorite Ford tractor. Thanks for posting that looked like a fun show!

Just found your channel, southeastern PA guy here, never heard of this show but I’m a huge Ford tractor fan, grew up on an 8N. I hope they have something in 2021 I’d love to go
@Jason1Pa3 жыл бұрын
I never heard of this show or town until I saw it advertised in Ford collector magazines. I honestly don't think the show is that big any other year. It was a decent turn out because the National Ford/Fordson club decided to have their meet there for that year.

I wonder how many aluminum hoods/grills are out thare that people don't know they have?
@Jason1Pa4 жыл бұрын
Well there were 600 - 700 of them made. Many got cracked and busted up because they were very fragile so highly unlikely anyone out there using one without knowing it.

No click bait here! I honestly don't know how to do that but it is at 2:12 in the video. Unfortunately it was loading up and pulling out.

I have 48 8n and I am looking 4 power steering parts.it doesn't have ps but I want it please contact me.
@Jason1Pa4 жыл бұрын
There are people that have done it. There are even kits available,but like a lot of people will suggest if your in need of power steering that much get a tractor with power steering. Not only will you get that but you will be getting a lot more features that will also be better then your 8N. Just a thought. Here is a link for a kit. jacksonpowersteering.com/
@stevehertz48784 жыл бұрын
I have figured it out.there is a pump on the front. For the loader. There r 2 elbows on it 1 top 1 bottom. Y not put a tee on top and bottom a couple hose a cylinder and should work.
@Jason1Pa4 жыл бұрын
@@stevehertz4878 I'm no expert in hydraulics but that pump might cause too much pressure for power steering. Also there might be a issue with the difference in fluid. Some systems use ATF or power steering fluid but you'd be using hydraulic oil. Like I said I don't know for sure just some things to consider. Especially with the small power steering arms (rams) they might not be able to take that much of a pressure being produced from your front mounted pump.

Hello!! I apologize for the late reply I must not of seen it until now. Sometimes I get a lot of questions in a day. Anyway I am very limited on knowledge when it comes to the SOS transmissions but here is a link to a guy that rebuilds them and is well known. arthurstractors.com/ He isn't far from me and I've done some business with him threw the years. Call him up you should be able to help you.
