Do you really need to buy tickets for this or just kinda show up and watch? I'm thinking they can't rope off 2 square miles.....

No, it's free. it can be seen for miles. The streets are blocked to traffic, or you can sit on beach. Theres is a vip section that charges to sit and has chairs,etc. .

I USED TO GO EVERY YEAR, BUT ONCE THE BLUE ANGELS DIDN'T COME NO MORE, I STOPED GOING! MY BIG SURPRISE WAS THAT A FRIEND CALLED ME AND LET ME KNOW THAT THIS YEAR THE BLUES WHERE GOING TO PERFORM AGAIN AFTER AT LEAST 13 YEARS IN THE FORT LAUDERDALE AIR SHOW AND I WENT ON SUNDAY! WAS GOOD, BUT I SAW LESS PERFORMANCE THAN IN THE EARLIES 2000-2006

Yes, When I moved here in 97, Those next bunch of years it was really good. Alot of military planes. Yea, the Thunderbirds have been the main instead of Angels, they are good, but not the same.

In the day could park on the beach.. They let us escape from4.30-5 30am.. In the day 3rd year the cops and Driscoll towing showed up.. We ain't moving. There must have 10 tow trucks.. In the day wr had 10k on the beach..B-2 B-52 F-14 Thunderbirds/ blue angles.. golden nights.. They landed on beach towrls.. And water didplays and an attack on the beach.. Need a job join the armed forces
