Excellent walk through. I FT in a 384GK and still like the 384GK floor plan better. Having the washer and dryer in the living room (when you FT it's a must have) is less convenient than in your bedroom where the dirty cloths are, and where they are put after being cleaned. Love the pop up TV and central vacuum (not in the 384GK). Also like the USB charging jack they put on the end tables by the couch, nice touch (I've added these to my 384GK). Still an excellent choice for those wanting a GD Solitude, but glad I was able to order a 384 ... bought mine Jan 2017.

Pete Nelson I do not have either the 384GK or the 385GK... Just drooling at the moment... But I do like the W/D in the living room. If you do any ironing, you can do so while still watching TV with the family, and if you have opted for a single unit which has a longer cycle you can throw a load in before heading to bed and it will be done by morning. Puts the noise further away from bedroom. So many nice features! Very logical use of space. Love the potential of a D/W! Would love to FT in this.

The only problem I have is the bedroom a/c, why they don't go to a whisper quiet in the bedroom has got me.

You said you option in tank heaters and king bed. Tank heaters are standard equipment in all Solitudes (including S Class) and king bed is standard in the 385GK

According to the GD website this is not an S-Class 5er it is a full on Solitude...
