So... at some point Blizzard HAS to nerf Protoss, right? Watching PvT now feels like it did back when mass adepts were all-powerful in early LotV. Not that the same strats are being used today, but the imbalance is similar. Game 3 might have turned out completely differently, though, if only Maru's first two mines hadn't gotten blocked by the marines on his ramp, allowing the stalkers to pick off one marine and one mine for free. With a second active mine at that point, I think Maru holds his natural.

Spoiler*** Does TvP need to be more balanced? Yes. But is literally no one going to appreciate the fact that patience came out first in the group? None of us could ever dream of beating inno and maru back to back with protoss, unbalanced or not. The game is never going to be perfectly balanced. That's impossible. Based on recent tournaments TvP definitely needs to be fixed, but lets at least try to enjoy the game we all love and lets give patience some credit, he is a badass player.

It's completely fine to be down workers as Terran. You can easily stay on the same number of bases. Having 4 workers per patch on 2 base does nothing for Protoss over Terran.

It’s a trade off. Plus, he had a decent number of units at the second base with a wall-off and a bunker. Mules ain’t shit if you can’t land and keep your second base in place and mineral patches in the main aren’t infinite. “Harass is pointless”. My ass, are you stuck in 2010 when players would max out before moving out for the first time? If you don't harass, you're gonna have less economy and therefore less army anyway. @@ramil8029 you're a moron. Terran is a race you siege and pressure with. Not harrass. Anyone good Terran knows this. That's how they literally designed the race. Siege tanks, liberators, widow mines, bunkers, cyclones, banshees, maruaders, etc. If you throw away your units like a dumbass to kill workers. You lose. You're supposed to siege them and prevent them from expanding with Terran. 2-3 rax bunker rush. That's a siege. 2 rax medivacs. That's a siege with marine medivac. Hellion banshee. That's a siege. Marines tank push is a siege. Marine liberators. Also a siege. All good Terran builds are sieges. Terrans try to drop and harass and lose their units then lose to the counter attack. It was like this all throughout sc1 and sc2. Zerg is counter attacking and defending. Protoss is timing attacks and skirmishes. Hence warp in abilities. Learn to play.

The biggest bs about protoss is their macro. They can produce probes at 1.5x speed of terran AND they don't need to spend time building their structures. In 5 minutes of the game, they get to mine over 1k more resources, which allows them to hold off any incoming attacks. By the time terran arrives with a 2-base push, toss has secured 3 bases, fully saturated with workers AND enough army to defend. This is an RTS game - players need to be looking for a good balance between their army and workers to struggle to stay alive at any point of the game. Protoss gets both of those NO PROBLEM. It's insane that terrans ABSOLUTELY MUST harass toss to slow down their economy when it takes them exactly 45 seconds(!) to build 15 workers off of just 3 bases (which is the amount you can kill with INSANE luck during your harass). Furthermore, toss has this amazing ability to hide their tech and cheese the opponent. Sitting in your natural as terran, you are almost never sure of what is coming. Is it blink stalker? Is it warp prism? Or could it be DTs? Or maybe it's a goddam glaive adepts all-in (is it an all-in if you have 61 workers tho? hmmm). Oh, right, it could also be tempest rush with batteries just outside your natural. You're thinking of ways how to prevent any of those, but before your wall-off is done at the second base, a ton of chargelots arrive and rip everything to shreds... Please, Blizzard. Fix this goddam race. P.s. Before ppl respond: Yea, im a 4500mmr potato terran who knows nothing about balance, right? I get it. But I have 70% winrate in TvT, 55% winrate in TvZ and 24%(!!!!) winrate in TvP! I won 11 games and lost 32 games against protoss this season. This IS a balance issue EVEN at lower leagues, as it takes WAY LESS SKILL and APM for protoss to control their army efficiently and choose when to invest in economy or army.

Idk within 2019 gsl's (S1 and supertournamen1) there's been a Terran meta of widowmine drops in the opponent's main or Nat.... Generally kills enough workers to be worth it, the game just never really got there. The widowmines are worth it for the economy as long as one of the first 3 drops actually kill like 15+ probes.

Having the possibility of Adepts rush on the front of the base and still playing drops and standard build instead of concentrating everything and build/APM everything to prevent. The priority should be in front of the base instead of it they just try to shave a few probes on another side of the map.
