В России такой мотоцикл людям не по карману. А вообще техника хорошая, но только для бездорожья. На асфальте езда на нем очень сомнительна. У меня в детстве был Урал.

I appreciate this video not only because of my fondness for Ural, but because of total absence of any unnecessary background music by the creator. To-the-point review. Classic👍

However, he sounds very uneducated about the outfit, and leaves out the engine sound in all of the clips of him driving it.

I have a 2019 gear up, love it. If I could do it over, I would have got the CT 1WD model becuase I don't plan on taking mine off road. I just found out on the CT model you can get the final drive with the 3.89 gearing as an option instead of the 4.62 gearing that they all come with and with the 3.89 gears you can easily drive 65-70 without worring about the engine rpms, as you only have 4 gears. I just took mine on a 975 mile road trip, no problems except me being the pack mule since I had the side car. There is a design defect in the final drive since 2014 which can easily be fixed. On 2014 and up they put the vent too low on the final drive housing and driving at highway speeds it will puke gear oil out of the vent. I fixed mine by removing the vent, installing a M8x1.25mm set screw where the vent was, put RTV sealer on the threads to keep it from leaking, and ordered a dipstick with a vent from Ural. I have put over 200 miles on it since then at highway speeds, no leakes anywhere.

Scott, I'm in the same boat as I primarily ride on the street so the 1wd makes sense, however there is an off-road park nearby (Hidden Falls) full of jeep trails, rock climbing and simpler dirt terrain that would be a blast seeing just how far I can take a Ural before having to go 2wd. Watch Adventuring the Hatfield and Mccoy Trail, they use both 1wd and 2wd Urals. You will be surprised at how well the 1wd Ural does.

Scott Evans I’ll add that to my “to watch” list!

Scott Evans I ordered 2020 gearup. Are vents a problem with the new ones or did they fix it. As I’m told only difference is brake bracket and dust seal in swing arm. Not much else for changes.
@scottevans84894 жыл бұрын
Scott Evans Hey Stu On the 2014 and up they put the final drive vent too low on the housing, so after a few minutes at 55-60mph gear oil will start coming out of the vent. Ural of New England has dipsticks with a vent in it. Pop off the vent cover and unscrew it, then get a 8mm x 1.25mm set screw 10 or 12mm long, put silicone gasket sealer on the threads and screw it in flush with the housing. Replace the dipstick with the vented one. I have not had any leaks yet, put about 500 miles on it at highway speed.

Rear brake us Hayes Brake and require 3/8 Allen and 5/8 wrench to adjust... It's Flying the chair Got mine in May, 5K miles so far so good. (Have another with 108k Km) 3.89 gearing, if one can find it, will work in 2wd and 1 wd. Owning an older Ural with that gearing and this one, I don't think it needs it. Does +70 to insane just fine...one really does not need to go over 70 on one of these things, often. says the man with +100K miles on sidecars...
@TheMotopologist5 жыл бұрын
James, I think I'm just used to going faster than 70mph on all my rides that makes me push the Ural to its top end, but you are very right. No one really needs to be going over 70 on a Ural. That being said my fastest was 82mph and barely missed making the wormhole portal by 6 mph....to think i could go to my programmed temporal destination with that kind of ease.
