She is famous in her country on volleyball, it´s just that people there on sweden don´t mind about volleyball so much. But after her, it´s growning in attention. I think sweden deserve at least to be in the olympics on women volleyball, Haak deserves that energy, they've never been to the Olympics. She is so sweet and is always helping everybody on the team! Too bad that Vakif chose Egonu over her!

"Will"? She has already been in Turkey for more than 2 years. This is in fact her last year with her current contract. Hard to say if she will stay at Vakifbank or seek new challenges.

​@@simonkarlsson4739 Honestly, most good teams already have their opposites, I doubt Imoco will let go of Egonu but Fenerbahce is really interested in her or so I've heard. Vakifbank is also making some moves to sign a contract with Egonu but that would mean Isabelle being benched for most matches, which is ridiculous. She could try the Italian league but Imoco has Egonu, Novara has Ebrar, maybe Scandicci? What are your thoughts? I personally don't want her to leave Vakifbank since I get to go to her matches and watch her play whenever I want XD

​@@hanzadedurmusoglu1486 Yes, I have heard the rumors about Vakifbank and Fenerbahce having made offers to Egonu. In my opinion, rumors about Fenerbahce sounds more realistic given both teams' current squads. But if Vakifbank does sign Egonu, there is no way Isabelle will stay there. She may go to Imoco, which will mean that the teams would be swapping their opposites. Though, I am not so sure that Vakifbank is trying to replace Isabelle. Guidetti has been investing in her a lot since she joined them and I honestly don't believe that he is unhappy with her performance. Having said all of that, it's also possible that Isabelle may want to leave Vakifbank at her own choice at the end of the season to take on new challenges. She mentioned a few times that she doesn't like staying in the same place for too long. In an interview she gave a few years ago, she said that she wanted to play in Turkey and Japan. So, Japan may be her possible new destination. Or she may go back to Italy and experience the league a bit more. If I were to guess, I think she will remain at Vakifbank for a couple of years more. There is really no better club in Europe and she is still very young, she could look for new adventures a bit later. And, I really doubt Vakifbank wants to replace her. I think they are very happy with Isabelle. But this is all speculation. I suppose we will see what happens shortly after the new year. It will be exciting.

Swapping opposites wouldn’t be feasible since both of them seem happy in their respective teams, but Vakifbank is an interesting team: I’ve heard that they want to transfer Egonu AND Zhu Ting, I know it is very unrealistic but Giovanni is a bit unpredictable. I’d rather Vakifbank invest in better liberos and setters though. As for Fenerbahce, Egonu and Arina would be a fire duo and no one in the Turkish League would be able to stop them… Turkish clubs also have the mindset of adding the best players in their squads so they don’t play against them, but we will see what happens, not to mention Melissa Vargas will be coming back mid-season, her addition will surely affect Fenerbahce’s advances for Egonu. I’d hate to see Isabelle go to Japan :( I don’t know why that happens but most players experience a decline in their performance whenever they go to Japan, Isabelle is a prodigy, I don’t really know if Japan would be suitable to her level. I’m sure it’s a great league in and of itself but the Turkish and Italian league are unarguably more competitive.

As a fact that, the fans who observe volleyball closely already knew that Isabella has crucial qualities which make her special and indispensable to the team. And with World Championship, it become self evident for everyone. So, most probably there will be no deal with Egonu. Perhaps Fenerbahce might take her chance for Egonu. So that, the competition and challenge in Istanbul might advance.
