2019 Kawasaki Z400 with Leo Vince Exhaust LV10 Sound Test Before & After

Sound comparison between the 2019 Kawasaki Z400 stock exhaust and the LV10 slip on exhaust. Actually there is no comparison. Stock is amazingly quiet, The LV10 has a nice little growl for the price and effort. Very simple to install.

I don't think there's any performance benefit, but it does sound mean and loud. Good luck with it and safe riding.

Hey Ray. No sir. Just slapped it on. Fuel injection so no carb.

Did you lose any power with the slip on ?

I didn't really test it with the stock exhaust because I was taking it a little easy since brand new. Suppose I'll never know, but the bike has some punch. It didn't seem any better with stock. If anything, the bike is a few pounds lighter. That stock exhaust is pretty heavy and clunky.

It's not supposed to. End pipe shouldn't influence performance unless it's badly made

Just about 90, but didn't push it beyond that. I imagine it will go over 100 - 120.

with slip on i got it to 115 pushing the guts out the exhaust pipe lol

Did you use any loctite to put it back in place? Or just some good’ol torquing was enough?

Thread lock is recommended, but I didn't have any. I used one of those free torque wrenches you get with a cheap piece of furniture. After a year, no problems, knock on wood. haha.

unclespeedy I thought I did at first but a friend of mine that rode it before I put the LV on told me it felt slightly bit more powerful afterwards...so I think It’s just me needing to upgrade already haha eying the Z900 lol

It's also about 4 lbs lighter than stock and sounds nasty. Safe riding friend.

Does it have removable DB killer?

Not to my knowledge. If that had a DB killer in it, I couldn't imagine what it would sound like without.

Not at all. Just swapped them out. There's a good video on YT that shows how to install on the Ninja 400, but same process. It was simple and I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to mechanics.

@bordemdays No worries bro. I live in Florida and mostly ride in rural areas. I also worry about getting pulled over, but where I live, that's all you hear all day are loud bikes riding around, so don't think they enforce much, outside of city limits.
