Great review bud. I (returning rider) and my wife (just got her L) were in market looking for a naked Lams machine that would suit both. There were several options including Mt07, Triumph street triple s, Royal Enfield twins, Cb650r sv650, bmw in 650cc category as well in 400cc. Z650 earned extra points for 790mm seat height and weight, the tapered tank shape made it feel lighter with flat foot on ground then it really is, this factor eliminated triumph,suzuki for us. Never realised but for new rider gear shift indicator could be important as well, which eliminated great Royal Enfields. Display on 2020 model is one of the best in the class even under direct sunlight it is readable unlike cb650r. Add some subjectiveness to the choice and Z650 hit the perfect spot for us. All manufacturers are offering very compelling and brilliant options in LAMS category in today's time, which makes buying process confusing and exciting at the same time. Love your work mate. Keep it up.

Nice review! I started on the Ninja 650...which is basically the same bike. I agree with your assessment...other than the stock exhaust which I found to be very Volkswagen like. I ended up putting a full exhaust on that bike and it made a huge difference to my enjoyment. Anyway keep up the good work!

Considering I haven't actually sat on a Z650 just yet, I was thinking about getting one, or even Z750, but there's a slight problem - I'm fairly tall: 6'5", 240lbs. What's your opinion on whether this bike would fit me, or rather, how would I fit in the bike? Great video by the way!

I'm still playing around with the setup, are you plugging your mic into the media mod for your GoPro?

@@Kwackajack yeah I have the media mod it works well I just use a rode mic in the helmet

Annoying that GoPro got rid of the mic input in the camera itself. I'm not too concerned with in helmet audio, but I suppose it would be good for the vlogs. I'll look into it 👌🏻
