In all my years riding I never knew KTM made a 3 wheeler I learn something new every day. I never owned a KTM I have road a couple my friends owned. I like the quality and craftsman ship on KTM models I wouldn't trade any of my Hondas for one but I really like them maybe one day I will end up with one.

It’s a street legal dual sport, just has a trike conversion which is legal for motorcycles so technically speaking it should be legal, using DOT tires.

If it's based on a street legal motorcycle, it's probably very easy to register it in nearly any US state. There are tons of trike-converted Harleys and Gold Wings out there--this is no different. And even being based on a true dirtbike is no problem in some states. It's very easy to get a quad or a SxS plated and road legal in South Dakota to name just one example. A dirtbike conversion would be the same way.
