Let’s see a ride video on this beast. I’d love to see how it handles on the road, what’s a comfortable cruising speed? What are the shortcomings?

I did the same build on my Husky TE300 and made it street legal. Las Vegas is super easy to street legal any dirt bike. Obviously not a good dual sport for everyday riding on the road but it sure is nice to ride out of my garage to my nearest trailhead!

Got a tricked out 2021 500exc myself and it's awesome, but reserved a 2022 xcw that will come in 2 weeks. I use to have a 300 years ago. They're just easier in the nasties and at 50 I still love the enduro and the nast and the kids are flying by me on 2 cycle 200s. Why make life harder. Let the money be the handicap equalizer.

I really wish KTM would still make some carbureted 2-strokes! I'd hate to spend close to $10k on a tpi 300 then still have to invest roughly another $1000 on a GET ecu a Pro circuit or FMF pipe + spark arrestor & a skid plate bare minimum beforehand.

you dont need the GET ecu. Not saying its a bad option but the stock tpi is pretty amazing.

dirt legal was how ingot an sx-f plated here in california . Which i was amazed at . Ive recently purchased my first big bike way over due, but I found a 2017 ktm sx-f250 with 115 hours, pretty much stock and ridden gently by an adult But ive been over hauling everything. Including many products Ive that ive purchased from you moto minded , enduro engineering , next big deal before my Sx turns into an enduro will be the Get ecu ( your youtube convinced me toget ine fo sho,)
