I knew Monsta X but never paid attention to them until last year when I watched MAMA live (I usually watch video clips of my fav groups and) but when I watched them, there was something special about them. Quarantine made me search for every video, performance, reality show, and variety show they're on and I can proudly say I'm a Monbebe now. His voice isn’t that dynamic and he can’t hit high notes but his vocals are needed in MONSTA X. Without his low/sexy voice the group would sound too repetitive and in my opinion Hyungwon’s vocals are unique and give much more variety that the group already has vocal-wise. I personally really like all the member’s vocals and high notes/pitch are an amazing skill to have as a vocal but there are other ways you can be an amazing vocal without having high pitch and Hyungwon is an example of that.

Being a bit closer to the standards of Korean beauty is named as being visual and that was just an additional feature Wonho had. So its not like companys call one of the members visual because he/she is not talented etc.

There's nothing like a visual can't be talented and only thing they have is their visual. A visual can produce songs, be a good dancer and singer too. I gave the example of Wonho. Monbebe love him because he is sweet, caring, talented and beautiful and if there are people who love him for his body or looks then they're not real monbebes and we don't claim them too. Even if you don't call them visual people will find them handsome and will prefer them over the talented one.

They just look so angry and it shows on the different members in different ways. I think you can see it most in Kihyun - who is just spewing his anger in those ungodly high notes and the aggressive dance, and then in Jooheon, who on the other hand, missed half of his rap lines in the beginning - he just seemed so done.
