For those complaining about the "muted" exhaust in the 2019 models due to the mandatory particle filter, this is for Germany only to my knowledge as their laws do not apply to the rest of the countries taking delivery of their vehicles. I take delivery of mine tomorrow and the particle filter is not identified on the order sheet anywhere along with all the other components.

One of the best looking and sounding coupes in the world. To me it doesn't sound any quieter than the old one and I'd have it any day over the 2017 one due to the 9-speed gearbox, the 9-stage traction control, the advancements in ride comfort, the new differential, the digital driver's zone, the improved steering, the new engine software, the huge new front grille, the rear diffuser and those huge forged wheels. Anyone who would have the old one simply because 'it's louder' needs to wake up. There's a thing called a 'performance exhaust' that, if you'd get a C63, you can surely afford. Otherwise, quit whining.

the w205 never even sounded close to the sls amg. This one sounds close to the e63s because its using fake sound due to noise regulations. I think an e63s amg with aftermarket exhaust sounds just as good as a 6.2l. Hat er die AMG Performance AGA ? Selbst wenn ja, ist der Klang viel schlechter als vom W204 ,lediglich die Fehlzündungen sind jetzt krasser ( für junges Publikum spassig) aber ansonsten ist der Nachfolger vom Sound her eine richtige Enttäuschung , noch nicht Mal das typische V8 -Blubbern ist zu hören was beim Vorgänger der Fall war

Why doesn’t Mercedes put AWD on this car? It’s fast ...but you get so much wheel spin when trying to launch from zero to sixty. The ride was super harsh in the 2018 and I read that the Mercedes engineers had tweaked the dampers to give it a better ride quality. I’d like to test drive one to see if I can really feel a difference. People complain about exhaust notes from KZbin videos which is really kinda humorous to me. Moreover...I’d rather have a car that checks off all of the boxes in looks, performance and equipment. The exhaust note can be easily modified in most cars so that’s the last priority that I require when I consider a purchase. I just saw where AutoVlog purchased a brand new Ferrari F12 and his viewership is already posting comments about changing the exhaust. If Ferrari can’t satisfy the exhaust gluttons out there with a factory tune...than I rest my case. The C63 is a great car and almost enough for me to buy one. Maybe one day.....

I can't believe amg, the kings of sound, would stoop that low just to make their customers happy. If I were to get a 4.0 amg (2015 onwards) I would get the e63s and replace its stock exhaust with a proper unmuffled exhaust, cause it would sound just like the 6.2l predecessor. sicherlich tolles Auto aber der Sound ist echt bescheiden ( zumindest in den Videos, in live noch nicht erlebt ) und das Auspuffploppen finde ich übertrieben bzw. nach einiger Zeit sicherlich störend. Die Auspuffblenden gehen auch mal gar nicht. Da sieht man ja dahinter die Röhrchen oder irre ich mich (1:34) ? Erinnert mich an ältere koreanische Autohersteller...

I reckon they do this because regulations became way too harsh. Either this or they gonna offer you optional amg sports exhaust that gonna sound better for more money. Either way if you buy this car and dont like the sound you can always get aftermarket one or straight pipe it.
