Really impressive for having only 184 HP. Gets to 100 kmh quickly enough thanks to the 9 speed automatic although the engine note at higher revs does sound just a little bit on the rough side. Mercedes has delivered on everything one could ask from a E200, in my opinion.

Aaron Randolph Chen i am willing to kick down but i dislike the 4 cyl rattle. But i optioned the burmeister surround system so i dont think it will be a problem :). Do you have one, how has reliability and servicing been?

@@antonioakiki3716 no, the last E I had was a 2009 E280 Edition 9 with the 3 liter V6. Currently I have a ML350 and A250 AMG - the A250 AMG uses basically the same engine as the E200 but with slightly higher power and torque. It doesn't sound bad at all, in my opinion.

W213 E200’s engine is M274 which is the same as E300. Only the setting was for less horse power, which will make the engine more durable. It is a powerful engine.

Heinrich Ecklestone selbstverständlich in einem deutschen Gesichtspunkt ist es nicht so hoch... sie sind, in mehre Autobahnstrecke erlaubt, Vollgas zu geben... beispielsweise in CH ist es nur 120km/h Höchstgeschwindigkeit erlaubt so 220km/h ohne Führerschein Widerruf ist schon etwas

Pretty impressive how effortless it does pick up speed even at very high speed, like at 1:48 and forward.. Try to do the same with a Passat 2.0 tsi and you will be surprised how much weaker it is compared to this little pearl of a 2.0 4-cylinder engine. The setup with the gearbox etc is the epitome of perfection. Cruising at 160 km/h at 2000 rpms is beyond reality. ;)

I personally think this is perfectly adequate. Ok it gets slow after 200 but I live in Ireland and we have shit roads and max we can do on motorway is 120 (legally 😉) so this is more than fine for my country. I like it a lot and it would be a nice upgrade for my Insignia

1:10 if you drive fast @ highway, for a big car like this its super, I drove 1750km's en continues rushing on the German and other highways, 150/160km/h when possible 220 it was : 10,4 liters for 100 km's , 2019 E200 Estate

Well, the E200 is the lightest engine on an E-Class. The Jaguar would have problems to keep up to see the backlights against an AMG-variant with 450+ HP.

A e200d (diesel) base spec (wide screen, half electric seat, led headlights just the basics of whay you need) is seriously 31200 euros (335000SEK) with corporate discount, and you can add options if you want. Most luxury cars in Sweden are sold to companies so the incentives are very good here from luxury brands. But I hate diesels which is why I went petrol which is more expensive but still a nice deal. Also half the VAT (25%) is reduced and the rest can be written of in tax so its pretty damn nice...

The Costs for the basemodel of an E200 is around 54k Euro in germany. And cars here a f*cking expensive, cause germans are willing to pay more than other folks for there car. Where do you pay 150k for an E-Class? Im right now buying a 2019 E-class 200 4Matic with EQ-Boost (197 HP in total, topspeed 250 km/h) with EVERY EXTRA except the HUD at 10k kilometers for 40k. And trust me, no Honda or Toyata gives you that much comfort at that price-range. If you want pure speed and accelaration, you have to either go full sportscar or go straight to an electric car. No fossile-fuel engine beats electric acceleration, and the speedlimit is all softwarelocks.
