FCP euro is the best with their life time warranty. The process is the same for the CLA 45 AMG just the filter looks different and it hold 5.8 quarts.

the official manual says it's better to suck it trough the dipstick tube. I always do it :) works perfectly.

Just out of curiosity - I run the 5w-40 LM Leichtlauf High Tech, vs the one in the video is the 0w-40 Synthoil Energy. Leaving the 0w vs. 5w aside, is there a major difference between these two? I'm guessing the additives package is different, but is it significant?

you are correct the basic additive packages are different. However, if you are doing routine maintenance and are typically under normal driving conditions, then the difference is negligible, and really just comes down to Weight (W) for your areas outside temperature ratings.

According to my ShopKey Pro software, Service Requirements for the transmission Show 60K miles for Severe driving conditions (extreme colds/hots) usually it’s 20K-30K more miles for normal driving conditions before the service is required.

Service Manual calls for... MB Approved Synthetic Engine Oil, SAE 0W-30, 5W-30, 5W-40, or 0W-40 depending on where you live weather wise.

You should remove filter first bro and allow it to drain into oil pan

You are correct, on a warm engine, typically I would. However, being that the Filter sits vertically and the car sat on the lift awhile, It drained as much as it was going to drain either way. The residual stuck in the filter fins is almost always going to be there regardless.
