Very good work, young fellow. We agree that there is nothing better than a road trip with a Mercedes hood ornament . Our last road trip was 30,000 miles. However, we stopped buying Mercedes when they eliminated hood ornaments on the C Class a few years ago. Our favorite was the C250 iridium silver on black WITH THE HOOD ornament. We owned two of them. They were a pleasure to own. We’ll consider your E450. Thank you from New Mexico ....p.s...Have you ever noticed this ? We almost did not buy Mercedes a few years ago because people said vandals would destroy the hood ornament. It was exactly the opposite. Everywhere, all kinds of people would wave at us. I kept the car in pristine condition. Was amazing how many people waved at us. No other car evokes such a generally positive reaction. We even noticed ourselves wearing our nicer clothes while driving because the elegance of the car rubbed off on us, too. MERCEDES , PLEASE BRING BACK THE C CLASS CARS WITH HOOD ORNAMENTS. WE WILL BUY ONE TOMORROW !

Nice review, I have one with the hood ornament, drives better than the 6.3 and 6.9. My dad had both of those. This car reminds me of my father. Even though he is going to be 93, and only drives a little, I want him to drive it.

It's the run flat tires that cause the noise. Without the the cabin would be quieter.
