@WolverineDevotee5 жыл бұрын
It’s ridiculous. B1G has 3 inter divisional games every year and 1 of them is the same team for 5 years. Michigan’s is Wisconsin (2016-20) and Nebraska (2021-25). Michigan will only play Minnesota twice between now and 2025 and both are in Minneapolis. We’re talking about Michigan not playing Minnesota at The Big House again until 2026 at the earliest which would be a gap of 9 years since the last home game in 2017.

I said it after the first game and I am calling it now. Patterson will not be the starting qb after the bye week. This will be McCaffrey's team moving forward. I really don't understand why michigan did not kick the field goal in the 4th quarter when they had it inside the 20. Would have ended the game. This is the softest team I have ever seen from harbaugh. They have no confidence in what they are doing. I love michigan football. It is tough to admit this but if urban Myer was coaching this team they would win the national title. You are a liar if you say I'm wrong. Harbaugh is not working hard enough to make this team succeed. Urban Myer would never sit back and accept this. Thats why he wins.

Several Key mistakes that Cost both tams , Army more so. Deep in UM territory, Army on ground down to UM 1 or 2 yard line. ARMY LEADING by 7 points with GREAT CHANCE to make it a 14 point game! First Down. FB arguably costs them the game by illegal procedure. This penalty of 5 yards really Hurt. Army Coach still had 1st down and goal from 6. This calls for 3 straight running plays. Instead, Army calls a rare pass play. UM defensive pressure results in an interception. NO TD. No FG. UM ball. So we had 3 bad plays : the FB penalty , the very poor Army Coaching decision to throw ball. The QB Interception. . These cost Army as it turns out vital points and thus the game. IF Army had kept it on groound it would have gotten AT LEAST a 3 point FG out of that drive; a 2 score game. It was not to be. They self destructed. UM should NEVER have let the game go into overtime. Late with 4th and 2 deep in Army territory, UM should have kicked the FG. Instead Harbaugh opts to go for it. A MAJOR COACHING BLUNDER. It Fails. Army ball with decent field position. Later, Harbaugh FOOLISHLY again goes for it on 4th down . UM should have punted and pinned Army DEEP. . UM does not pin Army deep but instead goes for it. Fails. UM Dodges bullet and loss only because Army misses (barely) a last second 50 yard FG. Overtime: UM 3 choking Patterson passes fall incomplete in OT #2. HE misses badly on all 3 pass attempts. Fortunately, the 42 yard clutch Moody FG is good. UM wins thanks to the Defense REALLY STEPPING UP nicely on 4 straight plays and that fumble recovery on the QB sack was , of course, the exciting clincher, Great game. Army REALLY came to play that day . UM avoids an embarrassing loss to a mere service academy. The UM turnovers by Patterson REALLY hurt UM. It kept Army in game all afternoon. UM was fortunate to win. Patterson coming to UM ws a mistake. The taller better armed QB McCaffrey should have been the starter. He is a better passer and runner and smarter than Patterson. He is also far taller . Even the 3rd stringer MIlton was/ is better. Shea Patterson in nearly every big game at UM was a turnover machine and/or showed poor judgment that cost UM points . He almost single handedly cost UM in this game with poor play, as well.
