Thank you for these videos. Wanted a all in one boat. Went with the gs20. Live in Iowa so obviously a little out of your sales area. But thanks for the videos!

That boat comes standard with 400 horsepower which is plenty for getting an intense wakeboarder up and running

Nice boat, but why would nautique design the storage like that? You literally have no storage at all.

Can you possibly do a side by side comparison to the lsv 22?

I do have a video walk through of the 22LSV - did you see that one? I'm happy to answer any questions about the differences - I've slalomed and surfed behind both and spent quite a bit of time in them.

I’m in the market for the 22 lsv however, I like some of the features of the GS22 just not a fan of the price point lol. Is the bow rise significantly bigger on the lsv? My family is mostly going to surf and wakeboard not too much slalom. This will be my first Vdrive. I’m concerned about the little 5.3l on the Malibu because we’re bigger guys and will always have a full boat. Would you recommend opting for the 6.2? How are the two compared power wise? Sorry for all the questions, your video has me all confused. I have been dead set on Malibu for a couple years now.

Ha ha I get it. They are both VERY nice boats. I would say if surfing is the main thing, 22LSV all the way. If you were going to be doing a lot of skiing, the GS22 would be much better. The bow rise on the Malibu is a little higher because of how the boat is designed, but it's really not bad. If you have short drivers, you could opt to get the power seat so you can raise and lower easily. What elevation will you be using the boat at? If you are at sea level, the M5Di should work for you, but if it is a concern at all, it's probably worth the money to upgrade. The M6Di is killer - amazing power and great fuel efficiency. People never regret getting the bigger engine!

Our lakes here in California that we will be going to are at no more than 1200 feet above sea level. I love the idea of the bigger motor but I’m being told it’s an 8k upgrade. Skiing we would probably do about 5% of the time over the course of the summer lol. I’m opting for the wake plus hull. Just because of that 5%. I’m by no means a skilled skier in fact I ride the outlaw fat boy ski lol. Thank you for your time we enjoy your videos and the detailed explanation of them.

So which boat did you buy?

So I'm primarily a skier but looking to get into a bit of wake boarding and maybe even some surfing. Was thinking of either a malibu 20 vtx a 21 vlx or a gs20 maybe a gs22 if I can get an amazing price what are your thoughts

Any of those would be great for skiing! The 21VLX you'd want to opt for the diamond hull for waterskiing (as opposed to the wake hull). Best thing would be to get to the showroom, figure out what the right size would be in each brand, then get out and demo both brands. They have a very different feel in the showroom, but even more so on the water. Good luck!

I live on a lake in Connecticut and am looking to buy a crossover boat for skiing, boarding, surfing, tubing. For 5 year old kids up to adults. I'm considering the Malibu LSV 23, Nautique GS22 and Mastercraft XT23. I've watched your videos but haven't seen you talk about Mastercraft. Wondering if you have some relative thoughts on these 3 boats.

Hi Jeff! What's your number one sport? If it's surfing, I'd go 23LSV in a diamond hull. Still okay for skiing and wakeboarding and your surf wake will be killer (and suuuuuuper customizable for all sizes and ability levels because of the Power Wedge). If skiing is number one, GS22 is awesome. Surf wake won't be as good, but the ski wake is great, especially for a boat that size! I've spent some time in Mastercrafts, and I'm not a huge fan - I know a lot of people really like them, but they aren't my fave. Best thing to do would be to get out on the water in them. All 3 brands have a very different feel inside and on the water, and with a purchase this big, its definitely worth getting out there!

The only problem is finding one of these boats lightly used and for sale.....
