coming from a person who's grown up around volleyball i kinda have a love-hate relationship with haikyuu. it makes common stuff seem so legit and it's hilarious. like rolling thunder or whatever is just a roll. liberos do them all the time. in fact if you can't roll you usually get injured more easily. and the quick set is just a one. like I have no idea how many thousands of those I've seen throughout my career. it dramatizes everything and it's so funny. but then again, there is no other show I'm aware of that animates and describes volleyball so well, so I can't complain too much.

I’ll be honest, Defalco’s demeanor was really negative especially towards their libero. However, to have your libero not only underperform and also make really bad errors, I would say that his actions were kind of justified. To play in such a high level, just one step away from being a pro, you should not be making such simple and unforced errors multiple times a game. I am in no way close to this level of volleyball, however putting myself in his position, I would understand his frustration. Edit: Looking back, I am pretty sure there is no off court problems between Defalco and other LBSU players, it is just him being a winner, and wanting to make perfect plays/win every point that he can

There were times when all of us wanted to fight each other. That’s why we’re so successful at HBC. That’s why we beat that Kaulukoa team. it’s seen as gay in men’s vb but watch girls they do it a lot
@drewbertmonoy2822 жыл бұрын
@@bobbyszamocki2088 The only reason it's not widely used in Men's VB is because it requires a high level of skill and physicality to use effectively, especially against hard hits like the ones in Men's VB. Without a stable form to pick up a hard spike, you're better off letting it go and repositioning to get the next one rather than trying to do a rolling receive with one hand. Chances are you'll miss entirely or just get your arm knocked back. The only time it would work is if you're trying to pick up a tip or a plated ball, but even then you're better off just pancaking or diving normally. And although I'm not entirely sure about this one, I believe that the reason this receive is sp popular in the women's division is because of its rolling nature instead of sliding on your stomach, which is not very comfortable or stable when you have breasts. It's not because it's gay, it's because it's impractical.
