I want to love this little car, but I’m from Charleston, SC, and the heat makes a black interior a deal-breaker. Leather is a deal-breaker too for the environmentally conscious like me who would go so far as to buy an electric car. Know your market, Nissan, I’ll be waiting!

Good morning Nissan, I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the 2019 Nissan Leaf SV Plus. Everything from how quiet it is, the acceleration, the ease of access to charge stations or just charging at home, the rebates, the carpool sticker, the free charging, the e-pedal, and most importantly!, the low maintenance that is required of the vehicle. I've got over 23,000 miles and the only auto work I've done was a tire rotation and a realignment. I can keep going on about the comfort/luxuries that the vehicle has provided for me. I love my Leaf, and I am ecstatic to share with anyone. I actually share a lot. I'm still in school working on my degree for economics and I use the vehicle to drive Uber. In any given week I have personal time, one on ones with 1-3 people, every trip I complete with Uber. On average I complete 80-100 trips a week. Imagine if you had someone that could market the Nissan Leaf in a way never done before. I am proposing that we work on a script for me. This way I can properly promote the vehicle and make an intimate connection with a potential customer by marketing to them all the great things about the Leaf and what the Leaf has allowed me to personally accomplish since obtaining the vehicle. If done correctly, I believe my passengers will not feel like I am a commercial and will leave my vehicle with a fond memory of Nissan and the Leaf should they ever contemplate a new vehicle or an electric vehicle. I would like to further discuss this idea. My ask for this service I would love to continue providing would be to simply have my car payments paid. This of course would be based on the amount of trips I've completed for the month/week. Please contact me and please forward this to your marketing team. I would love to further discuss this great marketing idea. Thank you, Dylan Salvary Email: dylansal@csu.fullerton.edu

I completely agree. If the Kona Electric had an AWD model like the ICE model I'd have bought it in a heartbeat. Maybe next year?

I don't know can you go to your local dealer and get the kia or hyundai EV? Maybe if you live in selected states. Tesla dealer? That's right no dealer just some show rooms then order online. The Nissan dealer will have the leaf YOU CAN'T SAY THAT ABOUT THE OTHERS
@arqcm5 жыл бұрын
@@tvtech77 Yes I can! Hyundai and TESLA have tons of EV's available for sale ; very, very soon the same with the Kia. and their customer service is much better then Nissan. After 2 attempts I'm still waiting to be contacted from Nissan for a regular test drive. Maybe they don't want to sell this EV...But I will get mine, that's for sure!...and will not be the LEAF.

I am totally turned off from Nissan. I was hoping they would help me out, but no. I bought a Leaf from a CERTIFIED Nissan dealer. They told me I was getting an SL. They told I would be able to take the car at least 60 miles on a single charge. They didn't register the car correctly with the DMV so I could never get ARB stickers. They sent the title to another bank, so my bank made the payment, but they said I didn't own the car. The dealer shut down, after they took my money. When I called Nissan Customer support, they told me they won't help, because I bought the car used. Now I'm basically out 7,000. I told a local dealer I would make a deal, where I would but a brand new car, if they took the one the shut down dealer gave me, but they said my monthly payments on a new leaf, would be at least $700. (The payments I make for the leaf I got, are $114 a month, so $700 is out of the question. The way I see it. Nissan outright stole from me. And as a company, they should want to make it right. I don't like being stolen from, and my only options are to pay off the car, and donate it one day. Or try to take Nissan Infinity to court, which would take time and even more money.

Nissan is horroble. An AUTHORIZED dealer sold me a used leaf. They said there were no issues with the car. So I got it as a small commuter car. First the car wasn't registered for sale correctly by the dealer. So after I bought it, and tried to get my carpool lane stickers, I could not get them, because the dealer registered it as a gas vehicle. The dealer also sent the title to another bank. So my bank spent months trying to get the title, because I thought the title was transferred directly to my bank. Which is what a dealer should do. The reason it was hard for my bank to find out where the title went, was because the dealership closed its doors. Its phones were still active, and it made people believe they were still open, but they were really trying to cover up their bad business practices. They took my down payment that I made, and never applied it to the car. They charged me an additional 1k+ for a maintenance package. Only to find out, that even though I was charged for a package, it was never applied to my car. Then I started noticing issues with the car. I called Nissan about my issues, and their stories kept changing. First they said they have no record of me owning any Nissan. Another guy was able to bring up the car I owned, but said that Nissan is not responsible for any dealers actions. Then I started noticing mechanical problems with the car. I work 30 miles from my job, but I started seeing that I couldn't even make it all the way to work even though the charge on the car, showed an 80mi. range. I was told to bring it to a service station, and have a diagnostic done. It turns out there was a problem with the battery. And since the car had been serviced numerous times before I owned it, the place where I got the diagnostic done, was wondering why in all the service records they had for the car, there was never any mention of that in the history of the car. (It's almost like someone was hiding that from the records...) But no matter what Nissan wouldn't help. I offered to buy a new Nissan leaf, at full retail, if they took the clearly defective leaf from me. They said they would contact dealerships to see if that could be worked out. They even asked what color leaf and what Trim level I would want. In the end, the dealers that gave me offers, said they would sell me a new leaf, but they wouldn't take the old one. Or if they did, they would offer me $500 for the car (I'm paying over 6K for the car) and they would add an additional 10K to the price of a new leaf, to cover the costs of the old one. Even though they nissan dealers, were running sales on leafs, saying that the cost to sign and drive away would be $80 with no down payment. For me they wanted a minimum of an additional 3K as a down payment, and a cost to take the car of 4K. With a monthly cost of over $550. Now the 12v battery has died, and I need to replace that myself. I am really done with Nissan. I don't think you can really trust any car dealer, but I would recommend to anyone, NEVER TRUST A NISSAN SALSEMAN, OR A NISSAN PRODUCT! #donttrustnissan

Yes, it's more practical than the Tesla 3. The newest Nissan Leaf is a great car. I am driving my 3rd Nissan Leaf. The latest Is a Nissan Leaf Plus. Yes, I probably would have liked the Tesla 3 Performance more for $20,000 dollars than the Leaf. Try an all electric vehicle, you will not regret it.
