Would you say the flotation is better with the new model that the old. All the videos on the nrs you don't see them in the water.

They actually have a model called the 2019 Chinook OS in orange with the ocean kayaker in mind . Designed like the older model

I have the apparently now discontinued Chinook, and have absolutely no complaints about it. As you mentioned, I forget I'm even wearing it, as it's really comfortable. I'm not a fan of pfd pockets that open fully into a "shelf", as I would probably dump the contents. I keep my phone and wallet in the large front pockets of the current Chinook I have, and my truck keys are always on me also. 👍

Can you tell us how it fit? I'm a medium too and mght order the L-XL because it's all i see in stock and i heard the only difference is the length of the adjustment strap which you can cut down to size and burn - is this right?

Catch and cook was made popular by Matt, aka Fisherman’s life. He’s done well on that subject and if I do that, then I would not be true to myself and and not be original. Besides, I CPR almost all my catches. I may consider catch n cooks if I do keep catches. Thanks for the suggestion tho.
