2019 Pailolo

This video was made especially for the paddlers. Not necessarily cut for excitement, but for insight on how the race felt and what the Pailolo means for the crews, no matter what the conditions.
Extra-long clips for the crews, really long clips of the battle between the top teams, so you can see some of the technique and how they were finding surf in pretty flat conditions.

Paddled 45 years ago , a lot different style. The canoe the same but not as much techneque , old pros had long stroke they could do for hours. 30 mile race we switched 1 or two a time at full speed loads of fun
