It's amazing how much bowling is a mental game. When I play every Friday, even though its for fun and not in an actual competition I have to concentrate. The smallest things can change your game and you start missing. I have to reset myself, concentrate, breathe, and mentally think about my approach and release. Once I'm back in the groove i can 'feel' the strikes and run with it. Congrats to these guys as they have to do this collectively on television in front of millions...sponsors...and family all watching every single shot, every single miss. Congrats to O'Neil, I could tell that was very emotional for him!

@@Charmander009 true...I'd say thousands at least from TV, but over time on KZbin and social media it would add up. We'll settle for 18,237... I think thas a fair compromise from 'millions' ^_^

Way to go Shadow O'Neill! Over the years I have seen him get to the show and blow it. I thought of him as the most competent of chokers. Whenever I look at players' stats and I see how many years versus how few titles, I wonder what it takes for them to bowl one ball at a time year after another with such dwindling prize money at stake compared to those glamorous years long past. I couldn't imagine sticking around if I didn't get at least 1 title for every year I was on tour. Michael Fagan pulled out and went back to school. He's making a go for it "while there's still time." Bill and I are the same age so I live vicariously through him. I don't know how it is that he doesn't just throw in the towel and continue this life on the road rooming with Belmo, especially with a wife and kids. But there he is! Stay golden Billy O and ride that wave for as long as you can!

About damn time they get these up. Without FS not many options to catch this and PBA should have these up asap so they can capture more viewers etc.. congratulations again to these freaking beasts of the lanes... wish more people knew what level of talent these kats possess, could all come to your local league with rented kicks and house urethane and kick the shit out of just about everyone... haha

I hope so. I didn't catch that much of a bowling scene when I lived over there, but now I know something I can do when I cross the border! I love bowling, but it does seem like such an American-dominated sport. I do like seeing international talent coming to American events and PBA talent participating at international events.

i hope randy talks up jesper's accuracy in future shows. it's so annoying how he goes on and on about how accurate bill is, meanwhile in the graphic we can all see, jesper is nearly twice as accurate. the dude just doesn't miss. +/- 0.6 boards at the breakpoint is just WTF levels of accurate. all his strike lines overlaid just look like one line.

Yeah its amazing how someone bowling a 300 and averaging 250 or 260 going into the finals (and beating out Belmo!) turns around and can't break 200. But each game is a mental game..i think the nerves got to both of them. O'Niel knew not to toss that far out into the lane and he did a few times.
