2019 Pioneer 1000 portaled lift build

This is Kelso's Day Job here at Rangeday Gameday...a Powersports Mechanic at Powersports St. Augustine. We decided to do a time lapse of one of our special projects, a 2019 Honda Pioneer 1000..Lifted...Portaled...Riding on 37's....hope you enjoy, here are some of the stats for the build:

Nice build!! Just don't like the way the rear roll cage comes down on outside on bed

Call y’all make the forward a arms or y’all just used what’s on the market?

We use what's on the market....either C-Fab or SuperATV

Three inches at most. Six is to much. It looks weird. Plus now it's alot easier to roll over now. I know there are some advantages. But there are more disadvantages. I hope it works out great.

They fail to mention that the width grow's around 8" as well because the portals act as massive spacers. I have a set for my Razor 1000 & with the tires & portal combo I went with I am lifted almost 8" & it's over 8" wider when considering the offset on the wheels in addition to the portals. What nobody will tell you is that you get hella lot feed back through the steering because how far the wheels are now mounted form the pivot point of the steering knuckle. I put mine on for Moab rock crawling & then take them off. They work great but definitely purpose building a rig with these.

Would it be worth putting in air shocks?

it depends on the load that your going to put on it, or if your rock crawling. that particular build would definitely benefit from air shocks in the rear at a minimum because of the weight of the stereo equipment...

Tyler Hughes 6” portal lift, 2.5” lift in control arms (with forward movement for the fronts) and 2” coil spacer only in the front to help with scrubbing.

Do you think I could fit 37’s with 4” portals, 3” bracket lift and highlifter forward arched a arms?
