2019 RALEIGH SUPER TUFF BURNER RE LAUNCH BMX

This is my 2019 Raleigh Super Tuff Burner released after 35 years , the main noticable difference is the thinner seat post any questions please ask

@@MeMyselfandMaking haha nice one. I had a mini burner brand new at first, then after a few years i got a proper one, a handy down from my older cousin. I can't remember what model it was. My dad crucified it by painting it white gloss!!😩. It had straight across handle bars and a bent back seat. I thought it was the dogs nuts, i always wanted blue mags on it though,but that never happened. 👍

Nice 😂😂, I never had a mini burner , I only had one which was the gold Raleigh burner and for some stupid reason I took all the gold off and put T bars on thought it was mint when I was a kid 😂👍

I like both Raleigh Super Tuff Burners in Gold and Blue and Yellow. As far as I remember the Blue and Yellow version had Leather Yellow Pads with Velcro, whereas the Gold version has Nylon Black Pads with Velcro. Raleigh never made Black Pads in Leather for the Gold version but just the Blue and Yellow model.

Raleigh really are missing out on millions they really have to bring the burner back into mass production now!. The generation that stared at the catalogue before Christmas and birthdays or in shop windows for hours, wishing with all their might that they get on of these bad boys as a present, has already started to phase into grandparent age, once the generations kids have grown up this bike will be not known to most , I'm 44, my wishes didn't come true unfortunately the burner was not to be for me. I'd love to buy one each for my boys and I'm sure their is millions more of you out there that would snap these up for your kids. But if they don't do it soon this epic bmx may never be where it rightly belongs, in the streets, parks, going over makeshift ramps jumping over 5 of your mates like evil kinevel, leaving 5 meter skid trails down the nearest hill.... Thinking about it I'd even buy 1 for myself! Raleigh sort it out at a reasonable price and it may just be the number 1 present all over again.

I suppose Raleigh’s ethos is limited production runs make them more valuable, but I could be wrong and it could just be limited capacity to mass manufacture them again.

I got mine from Raleigh’s website but they were sold out now pretty quick so now your ooking at on ebay or people sell them on Raleigh groups on Facebook , hope this helps

Martin Bøgelund Arvidsen that’s great , yes it is pretty basic really , your pedals have a left and right but will have a L and R stamped on . When you put the stem on for the handlebars make sure that you screw the 4 bolts in equal so you have a equal gap all the way around and don’t over tighten because you can strip the threads . The seat post and seat just slots in and tighten it up . The front wheel slots in and tighten up , the brakes may be a bit tricky to adjust but should be loads of videos on you tube , message me if you have any trouble and thanks for watching 👍

Not even a replica of the original i'm sorry to say... made in Taiwan @2:12 when Raleigh was made in Nottingham in the UK. No suntour stem, seat clamp, quick release MX calipers and chain ring I could go on and on??.... I hope you didn't pay more than £150:00 ???

I bought it because it reminded me of the one I had when I was a child and I love it , not for everyone and some people like total originals etc and I paid £600 from Raleigh , thanks for your comment though

And the color is way off. The original was a more creamy gold but this one is a very yellowish gold. It's ok but not right at all.
