Looks great with those spacers on I never thought on putting them on my truck because my truck looks straight with out wheel spacers I’m also running 33 in bf Goodrich all terrain tires I do recommend those tires

I had a tough time when I was looking for the aggressive look also, so many different answers and combos. I finally found someone who knew what they were doing. I'm running 305 50 20 on my 19 big horn black edition. No spacers, no lift, no rub. Looks awesome with no adjustment. Also threw on the borla ATAK for the aggressive sound.

Good to hear. How are you liking the exhaust? Did you keep the stock manifolds?
@MoparHollics2 жыл бұрын
Highly recommend use hub centric spaceser's that keeps your wheels nice and centered and avoid vibration specially when using your truck for pulling trailer's often.

Very dangerous without jack stands. Friend was killed by doing that. If it is important to clean the hub I would think it would be important clean the inside of the wheel also.

So your wheels swing in an arch so adding additional offset will make them contact different areas. The cheapest upgrade to get additional clearance would be a day of daystar spacers and leveling links. This would get you a 2in lift up front bringing the truck level. It retains all do the air suspension range of motion and just gives you a level ride height. You can go with just links and trick the system to riding in off road 1 height (or higher) but the ride will suffer if you go more than 3/4 of an inch. The links can be had for $55 for the front. The 3/4 of an inch will easily clear a 33 and ride about the same You're looking at about $300 for the products and install cost. With this you can run a 35in tire with stock offset. Not sure what you're running now for tires (it think it was a 305 45r22, but you could also run a 285/55r22 which is a 34.3in tires, a lil over an inch taller than what you have. The optimal setup for what you're doing would be the bds 4in. Full range of ride heights - entry exit will equal what your stock is now. Normal your 0r2 etc.
@MCOB20192 жыл бұрын
I just bought a 2019 ram limited that came with those same tires only they were smaller at 285/50/R22 I noticed my MPG is horrible I’m at about 11 MPG even if I don’t gas it. I find myself pumping quite often, do you know if the stock tires it had were better? Is it even worth going back to those though because I love how it looks with these!
@gunnersecuador7515 Жыл бұрын
Spacers may look nice and all, but you have to remember, when you are off road and are throwing mud and rock the tires will now throw it all up the sides off the truck and cause wear and even damage to the painted surfaces.
@rickylee2477 Жыл бұрын
Exactly. These folks who think it “ looks cool” do not realize how “ uncool “ the truck is gonna looks with dirt dust and mud on the body constantly. You can go to the car wash and make it back home with out getting your truck dirty again with the wheels hanging out that far. I ride 35s on my ram 1500 and ended with being forced to buy mid flaps all the way around to keep mud and dirt off my new truck. I’m not overly crazy about the mud flaps but they do the job they was intended for. I’d never put spacers.
@Flight_Mike2 жыл бұрын
I put 285/75x18" on my 2019 Ram 1500 with no spacers. They're 34.84" tall and 11.5" wide. No clearance issues what so ever with full rebound of shocks. Discussed with the manager at Discount tire for 15 minutes. He finally agreed to put them on after thorough inspection. Afterwards he walked away scratching his head because the company web said they wouldn't fit. LOL

2-1/2 inch level lift Fox shocks and 295/65 Toyo AT3. Truck sits higher. More aggressive stance , and looks meaner. No spacers needed.
@RobCabreraCh2 жыл бұрын
Heh Justin, how do these spacers helped with the bigger tires? I know you are using 305 from a previous video. I like how the 305s look, but from your video, the rubbing wasn't great IMO. I personally wouldn't want to have that rubbing on my Ram.

I'd also like to know long term if you start getting nicks or paint chips on the sides of the truck. The stance looks good but I'm not willing to get chips from slung rocks. Maybe after 10 years / 200,000 miles.

We will do some follow-up videos soon. I've actually had these spacers installed for a while now, and so far they are holding up well. I'm thinking about going a little bit wider to see what I can get away with. Thanks for watching!

You need to use jack stands! Jack hydraulics fail all the time. You could lose a hand ✋ or leg 🦵. 4:18 no stand and legs under neath rotor. Very scary. Then at 8:58 the Jack stand shows up, why? Wife probably yelled at you. Great video and nice looking truck!
