I have a 22 Ram. Was so mad the interior of the truck was so dark. I bought a couple boxes of those fenderwell lights and replaced the under dash lights with 1 ea per side. Under the rear seat i have a Du-Ha organizer and I mounted 4 of those lights across the front. World of difference!!!

Bought this product but returning them on the first day, Dome light does turn on when the door is opened however you can no longer control them w/ switch. Map light has the same issue, thank god I tested them before putting them back up, so I don't have to worry about doing them again. For any of you having trouble removing the overhead console, I highly recommend watching those lasfit videos which includes much more details. Even if you are not gonna purchase their products, it makes the disassembling and installation process much much easier!

Very informative video. I have the Limited model so there are several LED's already in the interior. What I'd like to know is there a kit available on the market for specific areas where you want to install LED's or do you just order the kit and just replace the one's desired ? Not sure why Ram would install LEDs in the cargo box area but regular filament bulbs by the high mounted third brake light. Also, is there an installation for under the hood ?

I’m not sure if there are since I’m not familiar with the previous generation ram. But you may be able to find one on Amazon. That is where I got mine.

The covers do come off. I didn't think I'd be able to get my fingers in there to grab the bulb. So this was the process I took. If your able to get to the bulbs just fine, I don't see any reason why you couldn't replace the bulbs without taking the whole console off.

@@abes8867 Those bulbs can be a bugger to get out. Easiest way is to wrap a zip tie around them and pull them out. No need to pull the console

Daniel Garcia I don’t know what your exact issue may be. But a place to start would be to check and make sure that all your bulbs were put in so that the polarity is correct. If that doesn’t work. Then check your fuses, to see if one as blown. And if that doesn’t work, a third thing to check is to make sure the plugs are all the way in on the overhead unit if you followed the process I had in my video. I hope that helps!

Im having a different issue where when i unlock the doors or open the door they dont turn nor the switch but once i put the key in they turn on Did you figure your issue out?

So i bought the kit that you got and the license plate bulbs werent the same as what was there didnt feel comfortable using those, also my interior lights wont turn on when i unlock or open the door but once i put the key in they turn on, any ideas anyone?

Have u had any lights flickering with this brand? Also does it still function like stock where you open the door and all the interior lights still shine? Heard stories of aftermarket lights disabling this function that when you open doors they won’t turn on, only when doors are closed and u click interior light button

The only one I had issues with was the driver side map light. But I think it’s due to the bulb not being seated properly. I haven’t had a chance to investigate it. But after the install the the lights worked just like they did with the factory bulbs. The lights come on when the doors open. Hope that was helpful!

Just finished installing these lights on my 19 ram 1500 big horn anyone have any idea where the bulb for the engine is supposed to go? I'm gonna take a wild guess and say somewhere in the engine just not sure exactly where

I may be wrong, but I think there are some models that did not come with an engine bay light. But if there was, my guess would be on the underside of the hood.

You're right! Good catch. The glove box above the glove box in my truck already has a "pure white" light in it, almost like it already has an LED bulb. So I didn't feel the need to change it.

Ish M When you open the top glove box, you’ll want to look between the door and the top of the glove box itself. Bend the top of the glove box on down a little and you’ll see the light fixture. On the light fixture itself there is a clip on the right side of it. You’ll need like a flat head to press that clip left towards the driver side and apply downward pressure at the same time. Pry the whole fixture out and then you should have access to it. I hope that was helpful! Be careful, and do this at your own risk! Good luck!
