Huh. There is a huge version of that orange buddleia at 15:45 just along the road from me, in a small piece of woodland, planted by the local community. I had no idea it was Chilean, or rare. Have to say that bees absolutely adore it, it is covered in summertime. I'm in South Queensferry, outside Edinburgh, Scotland, far, far away from Chile!

I'd love to learn some of the behind-the-scenes stories. I mean, it's one thing to have the skill to grow such gorgeous plants. But it takes something else to move them, set them up in a Chelsea display, and then take it all down, preserving as many plants as possible! Love this!

Many of the gardens are relocated and set up permanently elsewhere after the show, using the same plants. A few may be lost in the move, but the teams know how to handle the plants for minimal losses.
