Hey..many thanks for showing all your steps..I finally stepped up to install a really-cool and extremely useful 12-inch VanTop brand of this newer Dual HD Digital Camera Rear Mirror system..which easily fits right over our own existing rear view mirror..using one forward-facing recording HD camera..and another rear-facing HD camera.. mounted right there at the top of the inside of our very hard to see- out-of..rear window. I now use it every day..as my full-time digital device.. working great in low light at dawn and dusk..and always recording the front view mirror view ..while watching the wide angle rear screen view..which can be actually slid up and down.. as needed..just to see how much more area can really be seen...out there..

That's why I do this. I don't have great video quality but nothing more annoying than a tutorial that tell you where things are but doesn't actually show you how to get to them.

Dude! Your instructions are crazy good. I don't think I would have done this without this. Here's a little FYI for anyone that bought a Rexing V1 Dashcam. You might want to loop the power to the Charger fuse. I just installed my Rexing to the Sunroof fuse and the camera never turned off for some strange reason. I closed my roof and turned the car off but that didn't work. So I used the Charger fuse and when I turn off the car the camera turns off as well.

My videos are a bit long and boring but I hate watching how to videos that only tell you what they a about to do then skip ahead to it being done. Not everyone has the confidence and ability to figure it out on their own.

Yo thanks for this. I just installed my 3 channel Vantrue system in just a hour and a half. No wires visible except right where they plug into the cam. You are the man.

@@el.chepito1985 on my 22 model i had to use the spare spot. the sunroof had constant power with my vantrue setup.. maybe KIA made a change with the 22?

Awesome install man! But does this hardwire installation trigger the 24hr parking on your dashcam tho? Coz I only see a power source (battery wire) on the kit, it appears to be missing ACC wiring.

anyone else have an issue with the constant power supply. I have a van true dash cam installed on a 2022 stinger. Previously I had an external power bank installed (normally it kicks in when the vehicle is off) which worked fine in my accord. When I transferred it over to the Kia I see when using the a fuse tap that turns off the power bank does not kick in and if I use a sunroof or anything it constantly stays on. I removed the power bank and just use my dash but if I use it with a fuse tap that turns off when my vehicle is off I have to always adjust the time etc when I turn on the vehicle.

It's crazy to think that on a car with front, rear, side mirrors cameras, (at least on my GT Limited) you'd have to install additional ones to act as a dashcams. On the new C8 Corvette, and some other new 2021 cars, the carmakers finally figured out that they could use those cameras as dashcams also! Duh! Anyway, thanks for showing us how to install them!

So the sunroof fuse provides power even when the car is turned off? Will this fuse work for the camera parking sentry function?

No. The camera has a built in battery the power comes on and turns the camera on this way you don't drain car battery if parked for too long.
