Carrying the title of the best-selling vehicle in a company's lineup comes with some pretty big expectations. For #Toyota, that vehicle used to be the Camry for many years... Over the last 5 years, Toyota saw sales of the fourth-generation #RAV4 double to the point of moving over 400,000 units every year. For 2019, the most important vehicle in the lineup gets a revolutionary change with all-new styling inside and out, more technology, more power, more capability, and improved fuel economy especially on the #Rav4Hybrid. It looks like Toyota may have just set the small SUV benchmark even higher for 2019.

@Crixus A said a window not a carbon copy haha. Toyota does this all the time. 2020 will tell but the front reminds me of the refreshed 5th Gen 4Runner. And it's no surprise that I like this new-looking RAV4 given that I own a 2016 Toyota 4Runner Trail. This is the most aggressive the RAV4 has ever looked. They are getting that look (at least the front end) from the 4Runner.

I'm really excited for the new RAV to hit the market. A lot of effort and thought has been put into the new vehicle, and it makes me happy to see people as excited as I am to see this in person. As an enthusiast, I personally will be leaning towards the Adventure for my daily. The XSE Hybrid is tempting with those MPG figures, but after working for so long with and on Toyota vehicles, I've found that I love the gas models way more than any of the hybrids. The hybrid hum is just not for me.

@@toyotabrony I am a huge advocate of Toyota having the option for a V6 and despise refusal to add one as an option since there cars are notorious ion lacking Horsepower.. However if you understand the context of what the OP was saying then you would understand he contradicts himself. How is having a V6 with AWD going to give you the best CITY driving SUV(even though it's a crossover)? If youwant a good city driving car then buying a crossover is not the most ideal for that enviroment, hence it can't even come close to being the ultimate city driver. Oh and at least with a V6 it won't sound embarrassing when you rev the car right Brony. After all you got all but hurt in the other post when the OP suggested that the reviewer not bother to rev the car to avoid further embarrassment.

Yep a $45k Toyota RAV4 that would be. You can get an SE Highlander for around the same price which is a better ride for the money. And for around 5k more, you can have yourself a nice platinum limited hybrid Highlander. That wouldn’t make sense for Toyota to add that into their lineup

I like Toyota, but I think they need to figure out their models and the options that go with them. I got a Prius a couple weeks ago, and it was so frustrating figuring out which car had what. We we're looking for BSM, which is supposed to be available with the Two, but none of the ones we saw had it. Yet, they had the radar cruise control and lane assist. We also checked out the Prius 3, but none of those had it either, and some of them had leather seats and the Qi charger while others didn't, while some of them were basically just a Two but badged as a 3, some of them had the bigger display, while others didn't. It was almost impossible to find one that had the features we wanted.

Both.. hybrid of both gas and electric..The RAV4 Hybrid’s gas engine is complemented by a 118-horsepower electric motor that helps drive the front wheels and at peak can produce 149 pound-feet of torque. Toyota uses vinyl in the premium RAV4s. Funny sniglet, in the Tundra cloth is standard, and Toyota reduces the price $285 if you choose the work truck option, which only comes in vinyl upholstery. But yes, the Toyota vinyl upholstery is nicer than the Toyota mouse-fur cloth upholstery. The Toyota vinyl never shows wear or gets an odor. The Tundra vinyl came in a beautiful light gray color, woulda been great in the Ruby red RAV4.
