I'm looking at this same car now (exact color scheme and sel). Can you tell me if the 2019's come with a standard security system? I didn't see one listed on the sticker price at my local dealer. Test drove the new Miata but too low to the ground, uncomfortable to drive (I'm 6'1", 165) and the 72 month bumper to bumper warranty seals the deal. Thanks for the great video. You really sell the car and reaffirm that I want one.

Every VW has an alarm built in. They key fob has a panic button to trigger the alarm as well.

Why do care salesmen not want to show the top going down? I swear, every damn time, the drop top is part of the function and price, if anything is going to be an external issue that's super expensive, it's likely the canvas top and we never get to see it.

Found the perfect one for me in the next town over. Has EVERYTHING I want. Cheapskate husband refuses to buy it for me despite the fact that he bought me one for my birthday, sold it, traded in my van for a brand new truck for himself, then bought me a used lemon. I am disabled and can't work so I can't buy it myself. I was leaving the key fob in my current used lemon VW and guess who was driving it more than I was? Yep, the cheapskate! I took the key fob out and locked the doors. Money is not the problem. Heartbroken is an understatement.
